Ever make your own char cloth? Ever try to make a fire using flint and steel? This video covers, in detail, how to do both.
When I first started making fire with flint and steel, I looked to RU-vid for tips on how to get it done, specifically the best way to hold the flint and char cloth in a way that I wouldn't bust up the char cloth when I would strike the flint with the steel. After a fair amount of searching, I really didn't find many videos covering that, so I put that on the list of video ideas and now my video on the topic is out.
I hope this video helps you out when making your own fires using flint and steel as well as how to make some decent char cloth.
Tune in next week! And until then, take care.

That was a really good tutorial and that food did look absolutely amazing! Did you buy the food put together or did you put it together yourself? Also what kind of saw are you using it looks like it cuts really good..

Hey man, thanks for the comment/question. So the sausage and bacon kabobs I bought from my local butcher. They have some really delicious local meat products and I often get my meat from them for my videos. The veggie kabobs I got at the grocery store, although I often do make them myself. The saw is the Silky Zubat. It's an arborist saw but find it to be extremely efficient when compared to other saws of it's size. I highly recommend it. Not sponsored by them. It doesn't fold but is still small enough to fit vertically in a typical backpack. Thanks for watching! Tune in next week!

@@JayBirdTreks you're the reason I tried my first Lamb chop dude..haha. For real! It was a couple of months back on one of my campouts.. I had my second one last night on a campout.. it wasn't as good as the first but it was still pretty good.

@@OzarkGuy glad I inspired you to try something new! I'm definitely a fan of lamb. The video I'm going out to do today I'll be cooking a nice lamb steak and chopping it up for some wraps, Middle Eastern style. That one will be in two weeks, May 17th. Next Friday's video I'm currently editing. I'm at a new spot and I'm doing a BLT. Hope you can tune in. Take care.
