I bought my first pair of 365 pants 2 months ago. I now have 6 pairs! I don’t like saying something is “the best” but they are the best of everything I own.
I haven't tried the 365 pants yet but I just got some Todd Snyder chinos and 5 pocket pants and love the fit and quality of those so far. I am also waiting on some Spier and Mackay pants to arrive and try for the first time.
First off, what shirt is that? Looks great! In regards to the pants, I have the slim fit in almost all the colors. I do notice that there is a slight variance in size between the different colors, it’s subtle but noticeable. I’m 5’8 1/2” and have the 31/30s and about 160lbs. I’m wondering if I should try the straight fit or maybe size up to 32/30. For the most part the current size fits well, but a couple of the colors are a little more snug than others. Also my wife says some of them appear too tight, lol, so I was looking for a slightly roomier fit. I also wear boots a lot, so the slight bigger leg opening of the straight fit might work well for me.
Thanks! That’s a Levis western shirt I picked up on Amazon. I noticed a slight difference in fit back when these were made in the U.S.. It could be my imagination but the newest ones seem more the same. My wife’s favorite fit on me is the straight. It’s a great fit but I personally prefer the slim.
I really wish there was somewhere to try them on.. I have a really hard time getting pants that fit and look right and the hassle of ordering, trying on, returning seems like a giant waste of time and I am a ver patient person but this pushes my patience too much..
These sound great and I haven’t bought any. However, from the description of the fit and feel they might be very similar to some English Laundry pants I picked up at Costco a few years ago, which I paid like $20 (maybe even less) a pair. I still have all three pairs and they are still great and comfortable after about 4-5 years. Has anyone had experience with both Flint and Tinder, and English Laundry? I wonder if the Flint and Tinder are really worth 5 times the money, especially that they aren’t made in the US anymore.
I like the athletic tapered. My legs are big, but I don't like huge leg openings. The washed black in athletic tapered look great with their Logan boots.
Of course the relaxed fit is longer because it has more front rise, which lowers the crotch. That said, they would look a million times better if you cuffed them. You may not prefer this fit but the reason they look wrong is because you're mis-sizing the hem. Also those Birks (or whatever those slides are) do no justice to any of these pants. Try a pair of boots.
