Thanks for watching! This is definitely a great jacket. I kind of wish I didn’t have 2 others to check out. I want to keep wearing it. I am definitely checking out your video on the Hudson. You made me want the Arab Cable Knit Sweater…. And I want it to cool off more so I can wear it!
How does the size of this jacket compare to the Flint and Tinder Flannel-Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket? I originally got a medium of the trucker jacket, but I ended up sizing it up because I was just on the edge of the medium being too small. The large fits fine but I wouldn't want it to be any larger. I'm trying to decide on which size Hudson jacket to get. In your experience, is a medium Trucker jacket the same size as a medium Hudson jacket or does the Hudson actually run a bit bigger than the Trucker jacket even though they're both supposed to be the same size?
@@StephenPopiel I found the Hudson to be a bit slimmer than the flannel lined trucker. The trucker is a bit of a boxier fit, where the Hudson skims down at the waist. I have medium in both. I probably could have gotten a large in the Hudson though.
I’ve only worn the wool lined a few times. But it is definitely warmer than the Hudson. The Hudson has a heavier weight canvas (10oz to the wool liners 8.25oz) but the wool lined trucker has a heavier warmer liner.
The Hudson did great in the rain. Probably the best out of all the waxed FNT line. British Millerain is more “waxy” than the Martexin. Don’t does a better job at shedding the rain.
Hate to state the obvious - The major concern for potential jacket buyers is the - "SIZE ING" Its beyond me why people who review jackets don't state their height weight & size of the jacket. This would be so helpful than rambling on about how the jacket makes you feel.
If you mothered to read the description or pinned comment I say I forgot me ton it in the video. I review far more than clothing, so I sometimes forget to mention it. And I hate to state the obvious, but you can just ask.
@@jeffgrantMEDIA As every Jacket manufacturer seems to have different sizing - any information to help viewers obtain the correct size is invaluable - not so much your subjective views on the jacket. The fact I even have to state this obvious point to you - never mind.
@@derekcostello1016 That fact that you didn't bother to read the video description of the pinned comment where I state my height and weight due to the fact I noticed in editing I forgot to mention them in the video, show you yourself don't pay attention. I review more products than just clothing, so I sometimes forget. Are you not human? Do you not make simple mistakes? I took corrective measures. As I stated, you could have simply asked me, instead of trying to make me seem incompetent. When you failed to read the information that was added in 2 locations after I realized I forgot to put it in the video. And if you care to dig deeper, I have forgotten it in other videos. I also make jokes about how often I forget to mention my height and weight in others. And I am also aware I still did not add that information into either of my replies, for the simple fact... you did not ask.
