Guten tag... You guys do some fine work with that stone. I like some of the technique utilized in achieving the final product! It would be interesting to have an East meets West knap-in and see what we can learn from each other... Danke!!!

That axe grinding machine is a great idea. Any evidence of something like this being used in ancient times??

Propably nothing but similar brain. If people experimenting on these things came up with it, it is very likely at least some people living the stone technology life did it as well.

Ich würde auch gerne die Kunst der Feuersteinbearbeitung lernen, leider hab ich bis jetzt in meiner Heimat (Berlin) noch keine Möglichkeit gefunden dem nachzigehen. Gibt es in Deutschland irgendwelche Vereinigungen oder Festivals wo man solch ein Wissen erwerben könnte? Vielen Dank, LG Paul.

it was usually only done with axes, for most other things it would be too much of a hassle

Probably not there is no evidence for it from what I know and chipped flint if left as it is after a flake is sharper the point should probably break in both situations any way axes were ground to make them las longer cause the wood does not get stuck in the areas in the flakes and bull the edges
