yup! thats OCD alright! 😂😂 you can fix that charge 3 though if you search for charge 3 firmware rollback, some russian forum has a fix.

No you can't otherwise the pasave radiator will start to hit the amplifier because where they are so compact there is no room to add weights

Mine doesn't even hold it's charge. I always have to keep connected to a power source.

I have problems with Flip 4 GG since a year ago, and everybody on internet says it's a faulty battery. There is one inconsistency in that theory: each time they release an update, it works perfectly for a few cycles, ~5 hours at ~75% volume, then goes back to the same issues - crackling and lights blinking at high volume, out of charge in 2 to 10 minutes, displaying incorrect charge (shows low charge, after turning it off and back on shows 80% charge), goes completely out of charge within 30 minutes of this turning off and on again. Updated to 4.0 the previous month - 2 cycles with no crackling, straigh 5 to 6 hours at high volume. And here we go again - that's why I'm here. Can't find anybody on internet with the same observations/conslusions. I'm 99% sure it's not the battery, but incorrect battery charge mapping or something, as though it prevents the speaker from charging more than 5% if the charge once goes below that limit, and then it somehow breaks out of that loop while installing an update.

The 8.8.8 made my flip 4 tl have battery drain problem. And i update to 3.9 it solve the problem.

My an was 3.2 now 4.0

Its not a low frequency mode, its a service mode that removes the limiters.

@@alanrossreviews I know, in fact I wrote it in quotes. And in any case it is a mode that completely removes the DSP and not just the limiter

however, if anyone cares, this mode still works after upgrading to version 4.0.0

My TL got worse sound after updating to 3.9. Idk if 4.0 will fix it or not.

In my country both flip 4 and motion plus costs around 100$.But still confused which one to buy.Jbl is popular in my country.No one knows about anker motion plus.Can you tell which speaker lasts longer?

the problem is for all those scenarios you get a changelog and know what has changed. jbl do not want you knowing what they are fixing.

once you go 4 you cant go back!

Idk of you'll reply but if by "cuts out issue" you mean it seems like the song is buffering for a split second but isn't on your phone then YES mine has the same problem from time to time and I just move it closer. It's not like I'm more than 4 ft away at first though.

Yeah it is very risky to update your speakers in general because they might sound worst or brick your speaker

Inside the charging flap. On the sticker, its the first letters of the SN.

it has a bass mode you can put it into. It makes a big difference.. especially if it's inside a small space like a kayak like I use mine

@@Sevaz826 Yo tengo el mismo firmware, el mío es versión TL, luego de leer los comentarios y ver el video y tal como dijo el autor "las actualizaciones de JBL son una lotería" definitivamente no voy a actualizar, además en ninguna parte hay documentación por parte de JBL que informe que cambios conlleva la actualización.
