My wife has started watching your videos with me because I kept laughing when watching some of them. You keep it real and light. Others seem to busy worrying about sponsors. Keep doing what you do. Much love from ATL.
HAHAHAAAAHA Professor Tony should be the one that makes all the videos! xD "This is the wife. It's ugly, but he got used to it" KILLER STATEMENT! I think I will rename my hammer now! Thanks for such much good content Tony!
Hey Tony! I’ve had experience doing sandals and shoes! I find it better to double up on the leather for the soles! I put two 8 oz leather back to back and glue and stitch them together! Makes them last longer! What’s your thoughts on that?
I do have one question, what size punch do you use for your holes. I think it could make a difference to people if they are punch too large a hole. Thank you again for the sense of humor you share in your videos. God Bless
Hey Tony. Great video. Very practical. I'm sorry if this has been said before, but here goes. That was a lovely shade of red on your toenails when you were sizing your feet. Not how imagined your foot to have looked like. They don't match your hands. Just saying. And for Professor Tony, Does your wife know that's how you feel about her? I think abunch of flowers is in order, don't you think?
Hola, como se llama la plancha esa blanca que le pones para hacer las suelas, o en su caso que que mas se le puede poner, por ejemplo goma Eva? Gracias
Aren't you scared the stitching will get destroyed by walking directly on the floor with it? Shouldn't we glue some other layer under these? Will a glued layer stick well in time? :x shoemaking is a whole other world to learn again :s
@@04UltraRyder unfortunately it might only work for indoor slippers. For outdoor use you'll definitely end up damaging the leather too much and get to the stitches. I was wondering what kind of glue and sole might work for the long term. Does contact cement with some king of rubber/foam sole would be enough?
This is the hammer I use for all my leather work www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/general-gunsmith-tools/hammers/premium-1-1-4-delrin-tipped-brass-hammer-prod80046.aspx It is heavy enough to smash punches through thick leather, and pretty quiet. The delrin face is replaceable.
