RIP Flip. It was a blessing having you as the head coach, for my hometown Detroit Pistons, for the years that you were here. God bless you and your family.
kg didn't want to speak publicly about flips passing kg off the court is a soft spoken guy in kinda a shell but really emotional he spoke with flips family but not to public cuz he couldn't bring himself to just like when maliek Sealy was killed in a accident the night of kgs bday those 2 were best friends n in a interview kg starts to talk about it but has to stop cuz he can't do it. but kg never really needed to speak words he spoke thru his play now he's older but after Sealy died kg brought his game his intensity passion and drive to a whole new level that's how he honored his friends. kg is a class act thru and thru so no one should fault him for not speaking flip was a dad to him
RIP Flip Saunders you will always be missed ! I hope somehow they can keep your vision alive of what you left us with with Karl Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, and it was Zach Lavine until thibs traded him.
+Erik Gates He was his coach when he drafted him out of High School and most of his career in Minnesota. He was too emotional to speak in front of the camera to talk about Flip. He was like a father to him.
+Defense General They make the playoffs all the time..Are you insane? The state also has 6 D1 programs, most in the country. The High school tourney consistently has produced NHL level talent. I don't even know how many Minnesotans are currently playing in the NHL. Think before you post..You just look dumb.
KevinLove3030 do they win Championships or at least went to the conference? I don't care how many D leagues there are or if they make to the playoffs and get knocked out every year by states that don't even have snow and aren't considered hockey states
+defensive general Not D league buddy,Division One NCAA Hockey Programs. Whats your point? If were talking Gophers or St.Cloud St,Duluth? Lots of Championships! Wild? They were an expansion team and one of the most successful in a short period in league history. They were a game from the finals against the Ducks about 4 or 5 years after entering the league. If the North Stars weren't taken from us I fully would expect us to have a title because Dallas won one a year or 2 after moving from Minnesota. The way the league is set up now it supports parity and ebb and flows. Also the fact that Hockey hasn't had a draft lottery so lots of teams like Edmonton tanked for YEARS and YEARS.
