WB , no such thing as a too long video when you are enjoying the content. Thanks for sharing, I highly enjoyed your presentation. Looking forward to the next part.
If I didn't live 2000 miles away,I would definitely buy a car from you! Your honesty and hard work are impressive. Love your channel and subbed when you had about 12k subs. Love watching you work and seeing your channel grow!
@@philipthomas8440 NAH 2 K miles is not too far from my house to El Paso Texas is 1400 miles & I would drive that with not a problem I have ridden that far & as I say would drive it too
I wish all used car dealers were honest. I did some work for a small dealership that claimed all his cars were quality cars... But they all had issues. Either a bad smell, a ton of worn out parts, or questionable electronics... Just a shame because he was selling alot of cars for a small dealer. Title pawn place too, so he's dealing with customers in need....
Been retired for 12yrs or so and watching your videos makes me realize how much I miss the work and day to day hustle, your a very skilled and talented craftsman my man. I did this for 40yrs.
I'm glad I stopped to check out your content I'm really into motorcycle but I've enjoyed your video. You have a new subscriber. You are a hard worker. Thanx for the content
Man, I don't know why I haven't subscribed or seen your videos before?? The way you explain and talk its like I'm with you in your garage, just two guys hanging out drinking cola or beer and fixing the car ..... you are amazing man !
I love that you’re doing it right. I know you can’t do this with every car, but imagine if you can’t get a new car & your only option is cash for a used car & you see this? It’s giving this car a new life.
Thanks for all the instruction, from a super amateur newbie want-a- to be a painter. All those little details are solid gold to a guy that wants to learn this stuff. Others may take it for granted but I'm soaking this up like a sponge. Love all the instruction. Thanks a lot.
Wow. I hated to see this video end and I can’t wait until the next part. I love your attention to detail and also showing us the details. 40 minutes too long? Never Mike. The hood looks great by the way. I hope that you will make a nice profit on this car. ☮️👍👊 Ok I’m ready for part 2 now.
That hood looked great, You do amazing work .I am glad I found you I love watching your videos. You are by far the best at detailing I have ever seen. Keep up the good work!
I enjoyed your explanations on the process used to dismantle and prepare the car for painting. Everytime I view one of your videos you make every task look easy which indicates your high skill level. Love your videos. Your videos are among my favorites on RU-vid. Great work. Great pride in what you do.
It's good to see you putting in the extra effort by taking off the mirrors, trim and seals etc. Not to mention keeping the original color. The job will be so much better in the end. No Macco splash job here!
Great work on the new Flip car Mike. That hood painted Black look's like it could be factory. Really enjoyed seeing the Mazda 6 transformation and this one will be no different. All the best. Michael. UK
Well, looks like Torx is a registered trademark and "star" is just a generic name that the other are using to define this shape of bits, so technically "star" is also correct.
@@weirdbeard8898 Buy Oldsmobiles, Buicks, GMC's Saturn's, and Hummer's from the auction because i never saw one of them on your channel besides chevy's pontiac's, and cadillac's
You should do a whole series on painting cars since you use to be a body shop man. I for one would find it interesting and would love to learn from an expert like yourself. Thanks for the video brother!
i also have mustie1 at the top of my list! :-D besides mike of course. AAR is my top car channel. mustie1 mostly does smaller stuff. Andrew Camarata kinda just does everything, eric the car guy, and junkyard digs/mook are some of my mechanic favs. there lots of channels like samcrac i subscribe to, and watch when i have time, but these are the ones i anticipate new videos for and watch right away. oh yeah, and of course... scotty kilmer and crisfix. ;-)
great video! not too long at all. cant wait for part 2. keep up the good work. i live near houston, but i see a weird beard car in my future. i am all about a cash car, but knowing you have looked it over and will tell me anything wrong with it, is worth the travel.
Thanks for explaining all the tricks that you apply in the video to prep this car for paint. Now I can use that knowledge to do most of the prep on my car before I take it to the paint shop. Keep making videos like this.
Mike, great video, you attention to details shows your outstanding craftsmanship. Makes for a great product to your clients. Good Luck and God Bless +++
Thanks Mike, for another fascinating video. I so appreciate you taking the time to explain, on camera, everything you do to a car step by step. You make it easy for lugheads like me follow along, and not get lost in the mechanic's "lingo" that many RU-vidrs use, and leave me wondering WTF!
Another great video Mister beard I love your step by step processing. Your attention to detail what makes your car is look so good when you're finished.
I think the Mazda 6 turned out beautiful and the price was right. I'm actually getting months per gallon with my car but if I ever need an inexpensive car I know who I'll reach out to now. Excellent editing on your video while not leaving out the tutorial aspect. You've come so far in such a short time RU-vid wise -- bravo and congratulations.
@Weird Beard Awesome video Mike it's a pleasure to see you at work putting things right with attention to detail and clear step by step explanations.......so looking forward to Part 2.
WB been waiting on your next video and you haven’t let us down man. Super interesting, I know I’m going to watch this more than once. Thanks for keeping these videos coming they are very much appreciated. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏴
I love that Mazda! I had a 2006 Mazda 3 and it was a great car. I love watching your videos and wish you could put them out more often! Found you through Randy and glad I did!
So true. Especially on a low dollar car like this. I have seen LOTS of more expensive cars that you see poor masking and overspray. I love Mikes work ethics and attention to detail.
Really enjoyed that, Mike - can't wait for part 2. I think you're a sort of car artist - things have to be done just right and, even then, you're seldom totally satisfied with your work. I'd certainly have no worries about you working on my car. Thanks for the content.
The Mazda turned out great! What a fair deal too at $1,800. You really go the extra mile to make a vehicle worth the price you sell it for. You also do very good work from cleaning, to mechanical, to paint. Can't wait to see this little Aveo all put back together. Take it easy.
The whole time you were spraying the bottom side of the hood I was thinking "it wont look too bad if he puts the heat insulation / fire blanket back on", and that really helped. If this were a $10,000+ car I would have said to color match the underside, but for a small cheap car that will end up being someones daily driver, the black works. Nicely done, enjoying your work and your videos. 👌
See this is what i like to watch on youtube. A guy with a nice rotation of cars that just about anyone can afford. Nowadays as soon as anyone gets big its just like hey my names mike and today we're gonna be installing bumper stickers on my mkIV supra.
A real master at work doing it the right way, great job mike this paint job is going to turn out love watching you do body and paintwork you make it look so easy.
