You had me at 'flippy floppy' 😂 I read the description but was still surprised at how small and cute it turned out. The thumbnail tricked me into thinking it was A5 sized! I own the Wallflower pad, yay, and it has already been abused so I will use it. TFS❤
Laughed at the "I have two pads but I'm using the thrift one 😁😁 I'm like that with used books, I buy them to cut up then cannot so have to get another. Loved this project, would look lovely too in Christmas theme. Great inspiration. Crafty hugs Jacqui 😺
I find a treasure everyday when I run across a video I haven’t seen. You are so fun to watch you, you say things and I just laugh out long. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and humor…🩷 oh and a bonus, I’m much better with my ruler and knife since I found your channel…😂
Hi Margreth i admire you perseverance , 😊 love the spines think looka better too. I love the flippy floppy it is too cute❤❤ thanks for your great tutorial
Great project. I am going to have a try at making one. Instructions were so clear to understand. Can’t wait to see how you fill it. Thanks for showing and sharing. xx
Fabulous project, Margreth. I made one along with you - your instructions were clear and easy to follow. I made mine from cheap single-sided paper. To reinforce the half inch spine I left the top piece attached, trimmed it inside the score lines and glued it down. Bonus that it decorates the white on the inside, too. I hope that makes sense. Thank you for all the effort you went to. ❤ Belinda
If you don't have a scoreboard, you can use a ruler and the back of a butter knife on your craft mat or a protected surface. That is how I scored paper many years ago when I first started paper crafting. I love this little folio Margreth. I think I will make some Christmas ones. Thanks for sharing your idea. 🙂❤️
That folio is really cute! I made a prototype out of rather hideous paper and your instructions worked perfectly. Now I'll do one with my favourite paper (I always have at least two pads of it in reserve). Thanks for sharing and explaining it so well.
Another awesome piece Margaret…ps, you can make you string more grungy by pulling the string under your ink blending tool and running down it. Can’t wait to watch you pimp that folio girl! 😁😁😁
Great project! I love it!....I'm with you on the back going out. I have a quote in my craft room that says "Age is just a number until your back goes out picking up a sock." LOL Ain't it the truth?!
Second try and I got it thanks to your wonderful instructions. First try failed cause I got in a hurry and cut in the wrong place. Thank you for such a wonderful folio.
✨🌼❣️AMAZELY❣️🌼✨ Amazing how the Flippy-Flabby went out Margreth, and Pimp it up at monday yay!, for sure ill be here! ❣️❣️❣️ Thank you very much for shareing, you explained it so very well, iam gonner try it with a 6x6 just for make my life harder ofc 😆✌️ TYFS ❣️❣️❣️
WOW! This is what I have been looking for. My pile of "self designing" attempts have turned into a parts pile for other projects. 😂 NOW... to watch repeatedly until I get THIS one to work. ❤❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing ❤
You are amazing. I love this folio, even though it nearly drove me crazy trying to get it right.😅 Thank you for recommending the use of unflavored paper first. It took me 4 tries 😂 Love seeing all your creations. You always share the most creative things. My husband even watches when I have your channel playing 😊
I always have your videos on when I am working from home, very bad for me bc I immediately want to stop working and make flippy floppies with bits and bobs 😂
Hi Margreth I been MIA for awhile been a little sick 😷🤢 feeling a little better and thought I'd catch up. Sorry to hear about your back hope you're doing better ; I so understand about it going out with just doing simple things like sitting on the 🚽 has happened to me many times even once at a funeral I was laid out on the floor 😂😂😂 be safe my friend. I love this little flippy floppy thingy it's so cute TFS another great idea 💡😊
Love these how creative 👏. Wow you have so many ideas that are amazing 😊. Great instructions and it doesn't look way too complicated following your instructions 😀.
I love it as is but I can't wait to see it decorated! I stopped part way through the video and gave this project a try. I meant to just make the base and decorate later on but before I knew it I was decorating too. Lol I did strait pockets but would like to try the ripped way as well. Such a fun little project.
Oooooo this turned out beautifully Margreth!!! That Tim Holtz paper is perfect for it and I'm really looking forward to watching you decorate it! I have a similar problem with my lower back. I've hurt it bending down to pick up a cat and also leaning to get clothes out of the clothes basket. Ridiculously simple actions that end badly. I hope yours comes good quickly. 🙂
This of just fabulous ! I will definitely need to practice on cheaper paper first. I might have to do that a few times.😂 But I really want to give it a try. I like the little spines, they look so much cleaner/crisper. Hugs 🤗❤️
Genius idea Margret! I love your commitment to perfecting the final product. Just as well your channel is called SevenPlaza, and you’re not Barbara from 49 Dragonflies 😬🤭🙄 Have a beautiful day, Barbara 🇦🇺🦘
Going too make this one too❤ Don’t have this paper, but I could collage it from thinner paper 🤓 maybe I have done something similar in the past; it must be hoarded somewhere 😂 PS; been busy and got it the second time; saved the first with marks and notes for the right scores 🙏🏼💋 You are an excellent teacher!!!!! 🤓❤❤❤
Thanks i hat a lot of fun. And chang the paper from good too bad once as you says. But i make it really easy to understand. But the'bad'one look really good.
I just found your channel ❤ and am really enjoying it! You're very informative, inspirational and funny ... OMG, Hoardsville cracked me up!! I'm a little guilty of that one myself 🤦♀️
It is beautiful! Can't wait to see how you decorate it! (I always watch at 1.75 times the normal speed, so that is why I have already watched it all the way to the end, just in case you were wondering, since you only put it up half an hour or so ago?) Love the result! Maybe I will try it for myself, although I will then have to watch it at about half the normal speed to be able to make my brain follow ;)
Hello Margreth 👋 I understand your back pain! 😢 I encourage you to go see a rheumatologist, and be sure to give a complete history of how your back has been; when it started, how easily it "goes out," how long it takes to get your back/body moving in the mornings, etc. Have them check the HLA-B27 antigen in your blood, as a start. You may have a form of autoimmune arthritis; the sooner you find out, the sooner you can start meds that can slow it down. Hugs! 🤗💖
Fijn om te horen dat het wat beter gaat mer je rug. Wat een supercute flippy floppy folio. Je hebt het heel duidelijk uitgelegd. Kan haast niet mis gaan. Ga hem zeker maken. Leuk om kado te doen❤
I totally love your “your flippy floppy” creations. I have decided you are an amazing paper engineer. Going to make one of these tomorrow. Can’t wait! Thanks for the wonderful idea. ❤️📏✏️
I did make a prototype, not without a stupid mistake but some tape to the rescue. I can’t imagine how you come up with these ideas but I hope you keep it up. Now off to my “good” paper creation with no mistakes. 😄
I found, if you rip from the back side of the paper you don't get that white edge. I like that better. Love you and your videos. Keep up the great work!!
