Good morning Yvon! Though I don’t suppose it’s morning there 😊 Purple tape is a very low-tack rape so it can be used to hold items in place, then removed without tearing the paper (though it can tear older and delicate paper). A similar effect can be had by placing and lifting masking tape on your pants leg a few times, but I’ve found it doesn’t hold as well as purple tape. I’m adding those pockets to my scrap Buster bin/list.

Thank you and I’ve tried just about every adhesive I can think of. Vellum has a tighter weave (probably not the correct term, but oh well), and a less porous surface than tracing paper, but I don’t know that it’s stronger. It definitely has more give than vellum. I like using both, often for different purposes.

Hi Mandy! Purple tape (through Simon Says Stamps and Scrapbook dot com) is a low tack masking style tape... similar to painters tape, but a bit less sticky. It works great most of the time, and it tends to hold more securely than washi, especially with thicker or heavier paper. Be careful though as it can tear more delicate and older paper when you remove it. I often rub a strip over my sweatpants (which I wear about 95% of the time when I'm creating) to remove some of the tack, but I use the same strip many, many times before I toss it. Not sure what the cost works out to be, but it's super handy to have around.

I got the UBeesize 67” tripod on Amazon. It was my 3rd tripod attempt, and it’s a bit wobbly, but the height is right and it’s very easy to use. Hope that helps!
