In this episode I show how I extended the journal cover and I list which flip, flap or fold can be found on which of the numbered videos. Thank you for watching and happy creating.
Thank you so much Cori for the flip through. Your imagination is amazing and the fact that you are so willing to take the time from your busy life to share how to make each item is very generous.
Honestly, I get so inspired by the beautiful and clever items that others share, I feel honored to be able to do the same. It's what makes our paper crafting world so incredibly wonderful. Thank you Rosemarie.
This really AMAZES ME!!! The "pages paper" is wonderful!!! I don't know WHY they are so great. They just ARE! The details on each page are such a lovely surprise as you turn each one. It's difficult for my brain to even comprehend what I'm looking at!!! But I will be looking at THIS video many more times. And with the RU-vid videos notated within journal, I can watch those all again too. I just love EVERYTHING about your STYLE!!! Nobody does journals like you. I get so excited & inspired when I see your work. Thank you so much for sharing your work with us. You do BEAUTIFUL WORK!!! Oh, and that cover blows my mind!!! Simply STUNNING!!! Austin,TX USA

I wanna be you when I grow up…. I love your work and so appreciate all the time you take to share your creativity with all of us. I’ve never been one to journal, but your ideas are inspiring me to create a place where I can write down my memories and enjoy flipping through just because it’s beautiful to look at. 🌹
LOL! I'm happy to share and please believe me, you do not want to be me. Well, except maybe for Breck and Emeric. I can see folks wanting to be their Oma 💕
In awe of the work you do! I love your style and attention to detail. What a unique, one-of-a-kind creation that will be treasured forever! Labor of love, indeed!
I never get tired of seeing all the amazing creations in this journal!. Thank you for the flip through with the episode numbers. I would love to see how you made the extras you added to the journal.
Thank you Betty. I’ll make a Flips, flaps and extra folds (hey wait, that describes me!) video right after the pockets and closure Stamperia Forest video.

You create the most beautiful, intriguing pieces! I can’t tell you what an inspiration you are! Thank you for showing this flip through with the numbered references so we can easily find the tutorials. 💗
Thank you Beverly. Time and again I've been tempted to make a shirt that says "Scraps just make my heart happy", but I know folks would look at me like I've lost it! 😊
This journal is awesome. I made one that had a few flies for my great grandson. He was a little young for it and needed to be helped with folding the flies back together right, but he loves it.
Absolutely beautiful! I love your soothing and clean aesthetic style. Thanks for sharing your gifts. I bet your students love you. I taught Special Ed for 12 years in NC.
Bless you and thank you for your service. That can be such a tough group to work with... largely because of all the paperwork involved! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the projects and happy creating.
i have been watching journallin turotials for about four months now, I have just stumbled on yours and I love your pages the best I will watch you from now on, your style is cool.
Your journal is stunning. Lovely cover but your ideas inside are just fabulous, Cori. What a fantastic reference journal. Beautifully decorated. Not quite watch all your videos in the series, still a couple to go but everyone watched has been a mine of inspiration. TFS. I appreciate all your hard work putting together this series...thank you. Hugs C xx
Awwww, thank you Carol. It has been a delight to create and I’m happy that I pulled it off the shelf to finish it. I’m looking forward to a bit of a school break as I plan to enjoy your gorgeous tag creation videos 💕
What great inspiration for me to go back and finish up this project- like you I saw a squirrel somewhere along the way! This is so beautiful! Please keep putting out the videos- glad you are back!
Hello Cori 😊 Amazing work, I will have to watch your previous videos to see how you make all of these fabulous flips. Thanks for all your hard work, take care! 💜
What a treasure trove this journal is!! I love the idea of labeling with which video the piece goes with. I’m going to go back through my idea journal (which is mostly from flips flaps and folds) and do that. Love all the incredible pieces you’ve created, Cori! You’re amazing!! Love and hugs to you, my friend! ❤️
You may have recognized an item or ten from this book as being inspired by YOU. So, right back at you my friend. The paper art/junk journal/treasure book world is beyond blessed that we have you as an icon. Love and hugs to you, too 😊
You are SO organized!! I really appreciate it. The problem is finding time to binge and play along. You can bet I'll link your Playlist tho! Thanks Cori!!!! 💌
That time-to-play business... just amen! I try to be organized because I find it easier to create in an organized space... and I spend less time finding things.
Hi Cori! I am a fairly new watcher. In the junk journaling world I've spent the majority of the past 5 years being an admin and moderator in a few groups and have not crafted as often as I'd like. When I look at your creations I realize I am quite the beginner. Your attention to detail is off the charts. I love the tiny bits that you include, the way you gloss up pieces, the clean lines of your inking, the pieces you create to hold down flaps and folds, your use of doilies and how you put them on just the right color of paper to make them stand out. I've read some of the comments and I see that I'm not the only one who is in awe and super inspired by what you do. And it's not only how you make things but also your detail in decorating; the things you add to accentuate what you made. I'd like to see a short tutorial on that envelope you showed at the end made of just one piece of paper. That was outstanding! Thanks for sharing this labor of love. 🌹
Thank you for the wonderful comments. The time you took to share your thoughts and opinion is deeply appreciated. Another video topic on my short list is an "after the book" video where I show the pieces I made and included in that journal that don't already have their own video. I have been inspired in m y own JJ journey by specific people and the one characteristic I'm most drawn to is those that pay special attention to detail. So, I try to do that in my own makes. Happy creating to you and I hope you enjoy your re-adventure into a different aspect of this creative industry.
@@CoriDahmen I will be looking forward to the 'after the book' video. It wasn't difficult to speak my mind about your makes, they're easy to like!!!! 😀
You are absolutely incredible!! This was the first time I watched you!! And wow!! I'm just learning!! And you are a great teacher!! Thank you so much!! I look forward to seeing you again!! ❤❤🤗🤗🦋🦋
Hello Leslie and welcome! That newbie stage is fun and overwhelming and exciting, all at once. I would HIGHLY encourage you to begin with paper you like and maybe try a scrap busters video. They are short and sweet and totally do-able by any level JJer. Gayle Agostinelli and Tracie Fox of Love Junk Journals and Andrea Allen of Artymaze all have many excellent videos for new folks. Happy creating!
Just came across this video…new subscriber. excellent video. Been with Gayle for years and found Jibid Neary a couple of years ago. Jibid is the most incredible artist and storyteller. Her work is like no other ❤️. Can’t wait to binge on your videos, so happy I found you, tfs.
Hello Pam and welcome! When I need a smile I watch/listen to a Gayle video. When I need serene and calm, I listen to Jibid. I hope you find something here that inspires or encourages you!
Love it! I started noting the video #s so I could go back and revisit my favs....turned out it was all of them! So what the heck.... I'll just watch them all 🤣
Cori, it’s wonderful to revisit this collection of projects from your earlier videos! The addition that you added to the cover is really practical, yet looks as though it was always there as part of the original cover! So clever! Thank you so much for this video showing the video number beside the project! You are an awesome organiser! Any further videos demonstrating the couple of extra ideas will always be appreciated! Congratulations on this amazing ideas journal! 😀💞
So I decided to make my own idea book - started yesterday. I still want to use it as a journal, maybe for notes on some subject from magic, but include all these briliant ideas for flips, folds, pockets etc., so I can use itvas a reference when I’ll be makingvsome journal. Thank you for all the inspiration.
I was so enthralled watching this video! Your work is so beautiful, I love the colors of your papers and how you put it all together. There's a treasure on every page. I've been watching videos for months now and I have to say this is my all time favorite journal!
Thank you Irene. Those flippy bits make my interactive soul happy and I'm glad to hear others enjoy those as well. Add vintage linen and lace and doilies and, well, just happy things.
Such a pretty cover, the colour of good meringue😋. Oh good tips with the bag and clipping the ribbon! Great book, I love how each idea can have lots of variations. Tfs and have a great weekend 💖💖
Thank you and I'm happy to hear you found the tips helpful. I love receiving tips from others and I like to pass along things I have found that have worked. Happy creating!
Thank you Laurel. You make me smile every single day. I have the gorgeous treasures you've shared with me out on spools and in old metal bins and they just make me happy. So, thank you and I'm very happy to hear that I've inspired you to try something new or different.
That’s so funny Cori, because when I looked it up the accent was on the “per” part of the word! I guess it just depends how you want to say it. How I looked it up sounds more correct so that’s how I say it. Love your journal with all the extras and goodies!
Absolutely a jaw dropper, Cori. From the cover to the pages to the tags your ideas and attention to detail are awesome! Thank you so much for sharing with us.
This is amazing! So many ideas! I will definitely watch the series and refer back to this video as well. Thank you for making this video. I was running low on ideas and now I am full again. :) teri
I love this video. I have never seen anything like it before. Ive just got into altered books so I am super excited and so Inspired to try these ideas. Thank youfor sharing. xxxxxxx I have subbed with all bell xx
I have had so much on my plate and I have not been able to do this series with you. But it is my hope that after the first of the year I am able to go through the whole series. Because I often do need inspiration and remember how to do things. I have been journaling for many, many, years and a lot of trends have come and gone. I know I have missed some, and some I can barely remember. I truly want to make these ideas so I can use them over and over again. I am not sure I want one large book, but perhaps several small ones. But with that being said, I do love yours!!! Thanks so much for this series and for sharing all of your flips, flaps, and folds!
Hindsight is 20/20… or at least a whole lot closer to that number! If I were to do this again I would make it smaller and thinner and perhaps broken into three journals (over-the-edge pages, pocket pages and flip/flap pages). I hope you enjoy our project(s)!
This is a beautiful journal, love all the intricate details! Thank you for matching up the pages with the associated videos. I want to go look at them for further inspiration.
I absolutely love that you marked each piece to tell us where we can find it or who inspired the work. This is beyond amazing! Thank you so much for your extra hard work! Doing that got you a subscriber for life and I will watch all your videos!
Awwww, thank you. I love that "subscriber for life" bit. I'm happy to share and it makes my heart full to learn that something I've done has encouraged or inspired another crafter. Bless you
This is lovely and soft! And, I'm looking forward to the Stamperia Forest project. I ordered the paper pack, and pack of diecuts. Thanks for the inspiration!
Absolutely Beautiful. I really love how you tell us what video creates what. Just incase we want to add these pages to our journals. Thank you for the inspiration! 💕
Thank you so much Cori, I really really enjoyed watching you flip through your ideas journal 📔. I really really love ❤️ everything you’ve created. I’ve throughly enjoyed watching you create all your creations. I really really love ❤️ all of it, and your wit is really really amazing too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Absolutely extraordinary. Just speechless at how beautiful this is. A true work of art, one that may day be in a museum. Wow. You just bring it to another level every time. I'm in awe of your talents.
