We took the new FT Edge 540 out today for its maiden. I set the CG forward on the first flight and we could tell it was too much. We'll take off a weight or two on the next flight which should be perfect.
Austin had the sticks the entire time so I can't say anything about the performance. From what I saw, it seems to fly well. I believe that is a 10x7 APC SF on a 3S 2200mah pack. Motor is a 400/1000Kv motor. 9 gram servos all around. 99.9% built by Austin. One of his best planes yet!
Gotta admit, my son is a lot better than I was at his age. That's a proud moment for me 'cause I'd love to see him excel in this hobby and enjoy it as much as I have.
