yes, and sticky backed foam sheeting makes nice light tread for them. stretch slightly and lightly CA glue where the ends meet, toothpick micro bead a few places around too, they're much nicer and quieter after doing.

Sean Williams yes but no they sell only Kits/Powerpacks for it but you Need to buy a Transmitter ( the Controller ) and the second questions... OF COURSE!!!! Buy Dollar tree Foam or cardboard and of you want you can install templates for the plane but DO NOT put landing gear/ Wheels on the plane if it is out of cardboard then its harder to find the COG (Center of Gravity) Have fun

That would've been a lot of video to make and watch. Making a thorough build video takes a lot of time. I'm guessing it'll be out next week. Since build videos usually come on wednesdays, I wonder what they are going to do on monday. Perhaps they'll just go "crazy" and have the next one on monday already :o)

You can get foamboard like this in the EU already. I'm using Airplac 1 from Isopor, but they only sell business to business. Some hobby or craft stores have this too. But beware, there also is "Kapa" board which looks similar, but is about twice as heavy since it is made from polyurethan. Adams Readi Board is extruded polystyrene. If you can wait a few more weeks, you will be able to buy rebranded Flite Test Foamboard all over the world :).

OK thanks for the tip! I have heard of Kapa. Never tried it. They cost at least 7 or 8 euro per sheet. And most must be bought in bulk. Going to do some searching on the other brand you mentioned.

Everywhere except norway... norway never has good stuff for RC. We have depron tho, but that's about it since all the sellers of other materials are B2B.

StopaskingformynameRU-vid Don't worry. Even Norway will have a chance to get the "official" FliteTest Foamboard soon. :) According to the latest podcast they are working on making rebranded Adams Readi-Board available all over the world.

Pranav Roy umm man do you know how hard that would be they.......I actually don't think anyone has ever really made a scratch build rc onthorapter also why would you whant one they don't have any electronics for that and it won't be swappable it's just too much I'm sure there up for the challenge but man the thanks they would have to takle and say if they do it it would not be a 1 to 2 hour build and I certainly wouldn't be made out of foam board sorry.....nice idea I just it's a little much do they you?!?!?!I hoped that helped you out!!!!!!!!!

***** Nope. It's a professional production, so they don't use autofocus :). And because everything is professional every slightly out of focus area or late focussing is intentional and artistic freedom. ;-)

***** Mine was kinda sarcastic too ;). The rig has a big follow focus knob. You can usually see the autofocus on DSLR cameras because in video mode it is fairly slow and overshoots...

I try to keep in mind that it's a workplace, people are preparing new shipments, cutting stuff on the lasers, etc... I'm actually amazed that the laser room fire alarm didn't go off like it does in the podcasts constantly ;). I didn't even notice it this time. Not sure why the mini power pod video was marked as "not listed" and not published publicly before. Perhaps because it's something that wouldn't work in its own?

I actually like the activity going on in the background - makes me feel like I am there... I wish the sound levels were really even on the popcasts, though. One voice is really loud and another is really quiet. But, all is good - cheers.

Dollar tree foam board.

Auyang 1 that's what they use to use before they started selling their own foam.

It is called Depron. It's made of EPS laminated with paper on both sides.

They've said in one of the podcasts that there is not enough material for an "album" yet ;). But there is some more in the works and they are thinking about making it available then.

they aren't using depron, but dollar tree foamboard, it has paper on the outside.

It's 5mm extruded polystyrene foamboard laminated with paper on both sides.
