As usuall, excellent videos! But may you PLEASE lower the volume of the drum loop on your videos it is really too loud. And may you please tell me which cameras you're using for filming your videos? Many thanks!
Repair Boeing Airbus composite overlap is 1/2". Covering Film looks to be 1/4". Color packing tape is better faster stronger with the new adhesives by 3M or Scott lots stronger. Larger areas where shrinkage is desired to remove a fowl up in packing tap pull then covering film repair. Clean Boeing Airbus composite clean is polar clean nonpolar clean meaning water based clean the solent clean. Past was water based and MEK but MEK is iffegal in the states IPA or Acetone or any good solvent work
This is instructional video and not a movie with movie stars... you showing yourself snd your faces but hardly any instructions. Also talking about too much howbit happen... well who cares. We want to see how to repair it.... thumbs fown for that.
hello, the videos are very good, but I come to ask that include subtitles in Portuguese for Brazil, Brazilians would appreciate. (Closed Caption in Portuguese)
bubbles haha... i have found the best way to double over covering and not have any bubbles is to take a T-pin and poke a bunch of pin holes onto the first layer of fresh covering, so when you add your second layer (or) color with your iron... it will be bubble free. wich saves time and looks like it was done from the factory...
@freeflymonkey hey man u dont need to be so mean. these guys are awesome and they're trying to help poeple like u and me. but ur right about the charlie sheen thing
@desidudes78 these guys are awesome -- i was just wondering about his finger. looked painful. the videos are hilarious and educating. i watch them all the time. not trying to make fun of him but sheesh... looks gnarly.
Hi flitetest, i have a small hole in my irvine tutor 2 wing, its balsa and has the film on it, i dont have any of that film spare to patch it up, Anything else i could use?the hole is about 2" by 2" max, i hope to hear back from you thanks :)
Hi Flite Test loving your channel and humour. Always a great time watching show. I was honestly surprised when the covering across leading edge was being excised, to see no balsa panel curved across and protecting/ reinforcing leading edge.
Both are avaliable on HobbyKing www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?cwhl=XX&idCategory=245&v=&sortlist=P&LiPoConfig=&CatSortOrder=desc
Good content, but Lordy! I wish you guys would cut the "music" volume by at least half! (Totally absent would be even better.) Overriding, distracting, downright irritating, & totally unnecessary.
