Well I used boring spray paint for the main colors. Keep in mind that this was a prototype built from plans and so I use regular foam board and not the stuff that comes in the FT kits. For that foam, you absolutely NEED to rub down every square inch of foam with steel wool otherwise any and all paint will lift right off without much effort. After the base paint was applied I used simple acrylics for other details. The hand-brushed look fits well with the era this airplane fits into so don't be afraid to make it look "less than perfect."
