Dude nice! That went really well for your delta maiden, congrats! I enjoyed your commentary during the smooth flight. I just built my FT Spear from scratch like you and I'm really pumped to maiden her when the weather warms up. It's FREEZING everywhere...hahaha. Keep flying!

I have an unfinished FT Versa that was purposely designed for night flying with LEDs in the wings with navigation lights for orientation while in flight that I need to finish building... my DefiantWings - Sprite, was built badly but that's my fault for over looking the CG and prioritizing fashion over function (looks nice, doesn't fly... too tail-heavy LOL!!! XD Nice build, I see that the Spear wants to nose dive a LOT! I suggest you add 1/8th or 2/8th inch of reflex to the elevons and adjust your trim as needed on your radio. CG on flying-wings is VERY important!! I suggest you also build a "Vanessa CG Machine", there are many how-to forums and video's about how to build your own and how it works. Nicely done out there!!
@@crossgenrc3235 I have used paint stir sticks when I shear wings off at the side of the pod. I am deciding what to put in at build time on my next one. My choices include carbon rod, or stir-sticks. Either will be very firmly anchored to the floor plate and wing spar.
