Great video. I fished here a few years back but was with people who knew the area well. I was wondering where are the best access points with trails to different spots? Is it worth launching a kayaks to get places. Thinking of planning a weekend fish trip at some some this year and trying to learn as much as I can from a far.
I'm a novice to the river system. I was with a couple guys that know it well. I suggest downloading the Michigan DNR App and checking out the public access points on the map. I would not recommend a kayak. I guess you could float down and anchor up in spots, but that current is quite strong for a kayak. I'd say, it can be done. But prolly not the most enjoyable.
