Drongo is there any way you could also introduce the players by announcing their position on the ladder? I've been watching your videos for a long time and I really enjoy them, but for these lesser known players I would really like to know how strong they are.

I tried making the equality monks against OoTD once, but as is demonstrated in this match, the monks just spend their time healing instead of meaningfully debuffing the enemy. Even if they change/nerf the floating gate again, I'd still pick it over this absolutely useless landmark imho.

those Japanese 50% damage reducing priests did sweet jack all in that first big fight. I still haven't given up hope for a decent use case for them but this display wasn't pretty.

Awesome to see OotD getting played well here, especially with all the prelate support. That Japanese infantry comp has looked unstoppable in a lot of other casts lately and it just got obliterated.

As an HRE into OotD main, i stopped making Aachen. Just recently started playing online and have done fairly well so far. Ive withheld many rushes and early aggro. I'd love Drongo to cast twi in particular. Hands down the best caster.

Speaking of the colour choices Farm Man Official is now using a standard red/blue colour scheme. I've never noticed the health bars but the blue/purple/teal is pretty much impossible to tell apart for us colour blind guys.

That was a really bad idea to use the monks because they spent the entire fight healing the japanese instead of debuffing the enemy. Perhaps they need to make the curse an autocast or re-work the AI for japan's monks but until they do I really cannot see a use for them outside of comp stomps. I suppose it might work on siege units? Mangos or great bombards doing half damage would be funny yet even in those cases i wonder if it would really change the outcome of a fight. Even then a player would have to manually click each priest, click the ability, click a target. Only 3 clicks and something that a pro player might be able to several times in less than a second if they could use all hotkeys, but for any less skilled player that sounds like a demand their micro cant match.

The Temple of Equality is a good choice in this match up. The relic conversion damage buff stacks with number of relics and has a 18-20 second span...

buddist monk is mathematically cool vs Ootd lowering damage by percentage is more effective more damage enemy has. 12 -33% = 8 (4 damage less) 45 -33% = 30 (15 damage less!) and on top of that deflective armor Japanese may counter Ootd i feel it is possible, i feeeel it

I really don't understand why did they nerf the Japanese. In every castered game I always see the Japanese lose, I am at the point that I'm clicking every japanese civ games and will root for them and just ended up them losing it lol

I don't think it's just the map's fault, without something like catapult or onager chopping, treelines as a map feature in AOE4 aren't very interesting tactically. Wood is really strong defensively, so the only forests that are allowed small, scattered circles or giant blocks nowhere important. Anything else is unbalanced or unfun to deal with.

Also onaga Bugatti can't even load into rams
