The Illinois River is a spring-fed river, making it a great floating option year-round, especially during the late Summer/early Fall dry season. It begins in Northwest Arkansas and flows through Northeast Oklahoma. We floated this section in the NE Oklahoma in mid-September. This is nice float in a really beautiful area.
