The cool sounds good, and I can't wait. Tomorrow in Chicagoland is supposed to be pushing 100º and humid, so the cool after that will be quite welcome.
I could actually live a long, productive, healthy life without Summer ever returning. It’s disgusting from the bugs to the heat. Fall Winter and Spring me please.
115° heat index for central Illinois this week. This definitely feels like summer's last hurrah with all these back and forth temperature flips. Can't wait for more permanent cooler temps. God bless you and your family DW; thank you for consistently taking us through the models 🙏🏽
I am not a professional weather person but I'm old enough to know that something has changed! You "SIR" are a hidden gem! I've been a subscriber for a while and enjoy your content. You have already proven to me your knowledge. With that said .... I have bad feeling with the weather related to the New England coast. I am 67 years old and have seen weather patterns that were catastrophic (I.E 1978 Blizzard) and more to say the least. I'm a seasoned hunter and have seen migration of Geese in late August 2024. Fall colors on trees that shouldn't happen till the end of September! Your reporting of an "Artic Blast" (as well as others) I feel are not off the mark! How much trouble are we in?! As I said I'm not a pro but an individual that has seen a lot of things. "THIS IS DIFFERENT!" What I think you should do is add your own personal comment at the end of each video you do! As I said I value your opinion and what you think and I'm sure your other subscribers feel the same. You have earned it in my opinion! Thank you for what you do! avb
INDEED. I agree with all of your assessments. The geese began migrating out of this area of the upper Midwest during the last week of July. Other bird's soon followed first week of August. Only Bluebirds, some few Cardinals and a plethora of Crows have been around over this past week. @DirectWeather was also correct about the Canadian Artic Cold front that dropped down last weekend thru this past Thursday. Overnight lows fluctuated from 48° - 52°. The heatwave of 90° began today and it will last thru Thursday until temps start dropping as the Canadian Artic Cold will drop down again for all of September and October. I've taken out the down comforter and winter wear in preparation. I am glad that I chose to stay here until next spring then will make my way west for the Rockies 5-6,000' elevation area ~
I Noticed Three Weeks Ago That my Dog Honey Was Shedding And Growing A Thicker Coat I Noticed The Cats Too So I Had A Strong Feeling That Cooler Was Coming Early And A Strange Cool I am In Georgia It Is Now unSeaSonably Cool In The Morning- Totally Not Normal Preparing For A InTense Winter 🦅🦅
The story I just read was for Mt. Shasta! 15 inches! You can also see the mountain from my location. Shasta still had snow on it from previous years.😅😅
I love the long, sunny, lazy days of summer. Cricket & cicada sounds at night. Fireflies rising up at night out of the fields. Wild flowers growing & butterflies 🦋 dancing in the fields all day. Fresh fruits & vegetables 😋 Bird songs....wading in the slate rock creek bed with your dog. Baby animals born ❤ who wouldn't like the warm months?
Summer sucks. Sorry, but as a southerner and a Texan. Summer is NOT fun when it is 5 months of 110+ every day. Bring me the fall, the winter, the spring.
I just checked 3 different Apps for local area and they are Forcasting Mid to upper 90s until Thursday 80° with overnight low of 62°. ALL of them except for a fourth one I regularly check, flat out lie all the time. TWC is the worst. This is why I always wait for @DirectWeather to upload his forecast 😊
I happened to be listening to the Nevada-SMU game on Saturday and the announcers could see snow on mountains outside Reno. One announcer said he talked to people who drove in from Calif had to go through snow to get to the game.
I would disagree with this title .... when I was growing up, we had years we did trick-o-treat in snowsuits.... snow in Sept, etc... things are cyclical ;D
Finally that heat ridge is leaving texas, as a texan myself that heat ridge was just so stubborn. and I am glad that you finally pulled out your "well TODAY I AM talking about TEXAS!".
@@rvadventuresCooling off is like in the 80s and no humidity I can deal with that and your right our cool off is in Dec give or take I live in North fla
The so called "fall" happening isn't happening. It will get cool for a short while then right back hot again. Look it up. That's why I don't believe weather channels like this that just show one map prediction. That's not efficient enough to call a prediction.
Heat warning for tomorrow here in central IN. I've already set up the little pool for my dog so she has a place to cool off when she's outside. (Well, at least a place to hydrate, as she thinks it's mostly a giant pink water bowl.)
Last week in Iowa it got chilly, got out blankets and wore my cozy pajamas. I was in heaven. Yesterday was in the mid 90s with high dew points, today is supposed to be nearly 100 degrees with high dew point/humidity, and the brutal heat is going to continue the rest of the week. Please give me those cool temps! I cant take anymore heat. 🥵🥵
I’m actually pretty excited for fall and winter this year, so sick of this hot ass weather, hopefully we get a decent winter with lot is snow this year here in the Berkshires ( Massachusetts)
i am hoping the western states deserts anyway stay nice a warm, 95-105 well into nov if possible and no rain. yep saw posting of the snow in ca mountains, but elevation is up there over 10k i believe?
I have to say that cooler over GA is incorrect. We were 92 in upper GA on Sunday. It shows green and white dot where I live. So Yes that white dot is blazing red. I feel it will be that way for the rest of August as or weather guys show we are in the upper 90s for the rest of August and they say possible into September. Hmmm sad.
Snowed here at my place in upstate NY, 2 inches overnight on August 14, 2004. I read somewhere it snowed like a foot on the 4th of July, sometime back in the late 1970’s too.
Been seeing faint color change for 2 weeks. Burning bush started. ... It's August still!! Also, the chirping of the crickets and critters tell me fall is here already. It's been a tangible feeling of season changing way to early.
New to ch came over bc I heard that you were seeing an early fall. Where is the Fall Temperatures ? Last wk in Essex county area - Windsor,Ont. Canada - we had beautiful fall like temps for -4- days and it was enjoyable to be outdoors. This wk its a heat wave & so darn humid. Is fall still coming early after this awful bout ? I really hope so as this is hard to take !
🤔He just said Upper Midwest yesterday and, today, that the Canadian front will arrive by September 2nd for all of September and October @@sassafrasgriffin
I dont know if it means anything in the workd of weather but the yellow jackets are absolutely INSANE in east kentucky this year. Ive killed 17 or 18 nests this year and ive been stung 45 or 50 times this year.
