Thanks for sharing this this reminded me of the first flood I saw in Jamaica June 1979 but this one occur only in Port Maria God guidance and protection to all of them, this such a disaster 🙏
My heart goes out to you all in Port Maria I use to go there as a child. I know Ochum river and saw it flooding before. I was scared to walk close to it. Be safe guys hope there will be no loss of lives.

This is so sad 😞😥. My poor people. They should stay out of the water 💧🙄. Raw sewerage from all those are inside of the water 💧. What cbusinessesauses this flooding? Is it some river that overflowed? Or is it storm?🤔. Jamaican people are strong/resilient. They are fighters 💪. They will bounce back. I do hope that the leaders in Jamaica 🇯🇲 helped these people. My prayers are with them

As if this doesn't happen in the US too, they beg too dam much, if they would be responsible and dispose of the plastic and other garbage in the right way chances are this may not have happen .

Jamaicans need to keep theircommunities clean to stop so much flooding. They throw plastics everywhere I just hate that they do that. Nasty!!! We have to help take care of our communities. Love to the camera man or woman.

@@BunBabylon great response, this happened all over the globe, nature takes it's course whenever it is ready, if they see when this happens in areas in the Middle East, it's frightening. The government need to make proper drainage and employ people to clean them frequently also the citizens must refrain from disposing garbage in the gullies, citizens should also do their civic duty by cleaning bushes and other debre from the gullies so that whenever it rains heavily the water can run freely into the sea. I was thinking about how they are probably wading through bio waste cause I know that a lot of those areas dont have the best or most up to date sewage systems.
From when I was a child till now over 30 Years no government has never got this flooding situation right in St. Mary, specifically Port Maria Bay. They must stop treat our people like they are nothing whilst Feeding High Off the Hog, so to speak. It is a Doggone shame. You see who is left to wallow in the diseased water? Where are the politician and their families? The world sees these videos and it doesnt look good on those who get money to fix the problems. I live in Canada and every Spring meaning the month of April to March, Groups of workers spend time cleaning out the gutters, catch-basins of garbage to keep the water flowing so they dont get into nastiness like what you guys are experiencing. There are iron strainers installed to the side of the road glued down in strategic places on the street to, prevent mess like this from occuring. That strategy allows the water to fall from the roads, and bridges and empty out into the Hutchum Water, which runs into the sea. What a disgrace! These corrupt and greedy politicians are misusing their position, using the government (the people) money , watching the people suffer. You know you keep on voting in these people because of love of party and because you wont put your vote where your mouth is nothiing changes and everything stays the same. Your generations will have their children children experience the same thing as you. Dont you all deserve better? Your neighbors are not your problem, its your politicians. You think? SHAME, SHAME, SHAME. This is a damn Shame!
What the story here ? You left out Destruction of the churches, its members and all their false teachings/doctrine and false worship as well as their engagement in pagan traditional practices and customs that God’s Word the Bible DID NOT instruct us to engage in or use as part of our Worship to him (Easter, Christmas, etc). Jesus nor his disciples did any of those things, but church folks think it fit to worship in a way and a manner they think is okay with God and his Son Jesus Christ our Messiah would approve.
