Got to admit, the cows realized the grass did look good on the other side of the fence. You are still new to that 40 acres, and learning where water runs off and settles. Don't worry Chad, you're raising healthy freerange animals, and feeding your family healthy meat and eggs. This is just one of Gods smaller challenges, you've already got through some big ones and living on the reward. God Bless from New Zealand

I grew up on a 180 acers in TN.. My Papa raised cattle and and processed them himself. There was NEVER a family in need he didnt take meat to. We raise our cows,chickens and hogs to not only feed us but its also how we help others in need. Some people just dont understand and i guess never will. God Bless all yall and stay safe.

I love them all too. I guess because I tend to be a bit dry and sarcastic. Like little Adler I tend to have things just pop out of my mouth that come to mind. He's a sharp cookie! He'll be the farm kid that grows up working beside his daddy I think. He adores his daddy so much. Their love bond is so precious to watch.

My mom had her bicep muscle rip all the way off and they had to take a chunk of bone out and wedge it in the bone and she also had like 2 or 3 tears in her rotator cuff. Surgery was brutal for her. They say that’s one of the more painful ones. Now she has the other side that ripped this week the rest of the way through. She’s been in so much pain I wish I could take it for her. If anyone thinks any less for taking it easy on your body. Block there u know what! Ur entire family is the best. Love you all! Thanks for bringing them into RU-vid Chad. We love you for it!

You can lay roof shingles under the fence to stop grass from growing. So you won't have to trim the fenceline.

What about putting weed/grass killer along the Base of the fence on the outside, and basically clear/strip the grass off the outside at the base to keep the fence line clear? Basically remove the temptation????

Chad, I don't think anyone else has any say-so about what you choose to eat. Farmers have been raising their own food, whether it be beef, pork, poultry, or whatever for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. God gave man dominion over all animals thousands of years ago, telling Peter to ". . . rise, kill and eat. . ." giving man authority to use the animals for sustenance. Anyone who disputes that is just bluntly off-base. May God continue to bless you and yours and keep you safe always!

The loss of any loved one is very painful I know, but when you are married to someone they are your literal other half. Life with a part of us missing is very hard to adjust to. God give you nights of deep restful sleep, and days where you are busy and occupied so the time passes quickly. I am praying for you Suzie. My Dad had a ditch in the front yard on his property, his was cutting with his tractor and ended up Jumping to the left and the tractor went over to the right and tipped over. Thankfully my cousins were neighbors and helped him . His pride is the only thing that got hurt. My sister and I said " DAD ! ! He laughed.

I have a lot of sympathy for you & your bicep tear. I tore mine in a car accident, last year. It's ZERO fun! I don't blame you for keeping a close eye on Frank! He's just big enough to put a real hurting on you! Glad the critters didn't make a great escape & it wasn't really severe damage to the fence. You made short work of it. I agree about the hot wire.

I guess those who have remarks think that all their meats, Produce come only from grocery stores. They have no idea how much we owe our farmers! No farmers no food! They need to go work on a Farm for awhile then see how they feel! Glad you say it like it is!! My Dad was a farmer. We lived on our farm/ranch of 300 acre after World War II (homestead in harsh weather winter & summers.) Great memories and love ❤️ Thanks sharing always! God’s Blessings to you and Family🕊️🙏🙌🏻💜
