Our Floor. She is total package. Skill, voice tone, face - eyes - hands movements and even clothes. Goes straight to heart with a lot of emotions. There is many singers who are good in certain area, even awesome. But this woman is using every single aspect to create emotional experience to us. And i love that!!!

Anyone can sing a song. Lots of people can sound good doing it. But if you can make people FEEL the song...then you have something special. No one does that better than Floor. As a vocalist...as a performer...as an artist...this amazing woman has no equal.

That's the part you don't see here. When she walks back Ruben says to Floor "it's amazing how you manage to make everything better". They hug and Floor replies that it's not because of her, it's because his lyrics tell such a beautiful story that it has the effect that it does.

At this point the likes versus dislikes are 714 for, and one against. Who in the hell is the one who disliked? Seriously has issues that needs to be addressed. This was simply a stunning and heartfelt song, and a very beautiful reaction by patrol gaming. She continues to amaze time after time.

The Valkyrie Goddess turns into the mournful and soulful Country/Blues cabaret singer. She would be squeezing the tears from the brokenhearted as those tears diluted the drinks they were holding trying to drown those sorrows. Floor fans have been validated for sure, she is a vocal Goddess and tonight she became the Angel who makes the heavens cry with that vocal gift her fans expect but are still amazed and in awe of.Great reaction as she tonight reminded me of the great Country singer, Patsy Cline, who sang and lamented her love misses in her songs. Great reaction and who knows what is next but she is doing a duet with Hank (Opera Singer) in the finale, they are doing Phantom of the Opera!!!!

The woman can do no wrong when it comes to singing , you put in front of her and she kills it . Like you i'v just got in to Nightwish and Floor i'm coming up to 70 years old I go back to the 60s when i started to listen to heavy metal music . I'v seen most of the big bands live over the years but i don't think any of them could top Nightwish or Floor live . She could sing the phone book and i would still listen .

I will be 70 in a few months and luckily discovered and began listening to Nightwish near 20 years ago. Also listened to After Forever about 15 or so ago. Finally saw NW live in 2015 it was incredible.

Oh yeah... floor is the best. No doubt about it. But also realize these great lyrics by a 20year old guy. Fantastic right. Great review by the way. Stayed with you till the end and although I have seen it something like 10 times now, when ruben blows out in the end that's when the tears come. Greetings from the Netherlands 👍

Absolutely. Respect for Ruben for being - as Floor puts it - such a storyteller. His lyrics are beautiful and deep, yet with a certain down-to-earth simplicity. But Floor's delivery of those same lyrics is just heartbreaking.

She learned it all at the Rock Academy in Tilburg, the Netherlands. It's a bachelor education.

In fact, in some interviews she let shine though that she didn't learn that much at the Rock Academy as it was the first year it existed and the were more like lab rats. Plus everybody learned the same thing, beginning with the 50s, then the 60s etc. But she also said that I would be different nowadays at the Rock Academy

She's amazing, but think about this for a second, eventho the song was translated to English, the original lyrics in Dutch, were written by Ruben at age 16 or 17. Both could be chart toppers in the USA i feel, Floor as a singer, and Ruben as a song writer (and possibly singer, he has a really nice tone to his voice as well)

Henk Poort is the other big star of the 2019 show. Comes from opera, not quite as versatile as Floor but also experiments with different singing styles, and has just a great voice with tons of training and experience behind it. The others are good, with different strengths, but mostly stick to their styles. The show all in all is a real gem because of the friendly, intimate atmosphere with lots of emotions and good songs going around. Thanks to Denise Hofs we have English translations of all the shows :-)

I had the same reaction as pretty much everyone else. She just disarms me every time and I believed every word she sang. Such a phenomenal interpreter of songs and emotions. I had to tap out before the repeat simply because I would start the waterworks again. Great honest reaction. Keep it up!

Totally agree, she had me in tears... again!! I'm also very curious to see what she does next. With these 4 songs I feel like she touched some new territory and some touched the corners of her talent but hey, she has never disappointed before and I'm quite sure she'll knock it out of the park next episode again. Floor did sing in Finnish too. Raskasta Joulua (Heavy Christmas) is a tour with several well known Finnish and sometimes foreign metal singers. They sing Christmas songs with metal twist and Floor was with them I believe 2017 and 2018. In 2017 she sang O Holy Night (Oi Jouluyö) and while of course you can hear the accent she was amazing.

Great reaction, and a great song written by Ruben. Hits home as a father in a similar situation as the father in this song. It wasn't part of the master plan for my two kids to be children of divorce, and as much as everyone says, "well they now have two loving families", you never totally get over the guilt about how it turned out for them. The last lines especially...powerful. Her execution was of course flawless, as has been every other song she's done. Just so powerful.

Performers like Floor put the Netherlands artists on the worldwide map. If someone didnt know how many great singers we have in our little country ... watch more episodes of the dutch tv show "Beste Zangers" and listen to the different genres, you would be amazed. Its a painfully beautiful song, and the subject matter hits hard for a lot of people, too hard for some even. But i truly believe, when a song has that much power, so much it can hurt too much for some, means that the song itself is borderline perfection. Now that might seem a bit of a strange statement, but bare with me, because i see music as audible emotion, thus, music = emotions. And if a song is written so well, that it brings tears to the eyes of many, many people, chances are that that song is going to be too much for some who still struggle with the subject. To think Ruben was only 16 or 17 when he wrote this song (the lyrics are just as impressive in Dutch), shows how much talent he has to become one of the great story tellers in music. I certainly hope he will be, if you can write this type powerful music, at that age already, then you belong in music, and nowhere else.

I love your reaction. It's really very much like mine, I keep crying when I watch reaction videos for this performance. She is SO GOOD! Watched it several times, teared up for every one of them! Ruben is an AMAZING lyricist! Found some of his stuff on RU-vid. Even without me understanding Dutch at all, Ruben is good. Floor had her sister's help translating this into English. Between them, Floor and Irene did AMAZING!
