I’m pretty sure Alanna gets it. She’s a Floor fan for life now. As am I, and most of us here. The documentary film, “please Learn the Setlist in 48 hours” is also worth watching. More insight as how she joined the band, than tears. It’s interesting. You don’t need to watch it right away. Might be better to have a little more history of the band, listened to some earlier stuff, etc. first. Enjoy!

Empathy, one of the greatest power in human.

Floor has touched our hearts. It is very moving to hear her describe what pain she experienced and the dark place she was in. Who could tell her that it all happened so she would be free to join Nightwish, move to Finland, meet her hubby on tour in Canada, move to Sweden, then have her child, and a beautiful home in the country with horses, kitties, and their sweet doggie. :) Her life took a wonderful and completely different path.

Floor always calls the band her brothers. She also calls Tuomas "the Grand Master". Going back to ghe early days, a documentary video worth watching is "End of Innocence ... The Whole Story". It tells the story of the birth of Nightwish and their first several years - how Tuomas' project grew into the greatest metal band in the world. It's pre-Floor but has Tuomas, Jukka Nevolainen, Emppu, Marco, original bassist Sami and a host of supporting crew - techs, manager etc. A mad life depicted in a long documentary but lots of insights.

And sometimes the Goddess comes down to Earth and appears to be one of us.

I have seen this interview more than once but it always moves me to see what a genuine nice and humble person Floor is in real life, compared to being that absolute goddess on stage. I love how Tuomas says she's at home with them, that's exactly right, she is at home with her brothers. Very nice reaction and nice to meet Alanna. She is Dutch, so she talk Dutch very good, yes naturally, 😄👌🤭but she speek and singing 8 languages, so, that is of course very clever of her, and she is not for sale with it. she is a very modest self-assured woman ,but certainly no semblance of diva demeanor, modest and down to earth. and when she goes around the stage, WOW FACTOR, nex level ,nexs,up ,nex level that's why she (I think personally) has so many fans and of course she fits right in between her self-proclaimed brothers which seemed to be mutual, but as a big sister literally and FIGURELY the greaters band Nigthwisch 😉😉🤘🤘❤❤🤘she love them so wel 👌i think

I can attest, being amongst the lucky ones to meet her this summer, she radiates love and kindness in person and is truly appreciative of everyone.

Funny thing about that class is, that it is actually the most successful class of that school, with people who became really famous in the Netherlands and also outside the country. The guy at the end, who was talking about his children, is Cilvaringz. He became the first non-American affiliate of the Wu-Tang Clan in 1999. In April 2008 Cilvaringz conceptualized and began producing Wu-Tang Clan's secret album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin under the patronage of RZA. Last year, september 1st 2021 i went to her concert here in Amsterdam. And last sunday evening she was at a tv show and 2 friends from me (a couple) were there just like a few weeks ago when Floor was also there, and they have been in the show as her fan. I almost could go but was just to late, as i got a mail back from the programme.

Hi Aletta! I believe Floors shoes are by Irregular Choice, they make the most amazing and fun shoes. Floors most recent outfits were done by Royal Black Couture. To have one of their corsets is on my bucketlist. Someday.

Great Reaction! I had seen this video before, but I always enjoy watching it again. I second somebody else's suggestion of The Greatest Show on Earth from this concert (Tampere 2015). It is one of Nightwish's epic songs (very long). It is about the evolution of the universe and earth, but don't stop the video until the credits come up. There is a famous man that speaks about evolution before the video is officially over.

I didn't know exactly what was said but it's pretty much over now that I see it again, at 12.30 your friend cries, I cry because of her reaction because I feel the same as her at that moment and the love for her parents is so touching. Real unconditional love radiates from it. Mother and Floor, Father think it's fantastic, but I seem concerned that she won't get a relapse from her burn out. but positively concerned, helped her a lot with Floor getting healthy. Floor wrote a song about her mother while with After Forever called "Strong". It's about her mother's fight with Rhuematoid Arthritis. Look it up.

Im also a Nightwish Army representative,but im seriously late to the party. But i always appreciate seeing more and more people setting off time to discover the backstory with Floor,that makes her importance as a frontwoman,artist,songwriter and so on,even higher and stronger then first imaginable! Floor Jansen has recently confirmed that she is having a baby number 2 on the way! She has already gotten a good baby tummy,so Freja is either gonna have a little brother or a little sister. Im sure you have already done "Please Learn The Setlist In 48hours",wich shows Floors amazing personality,and also stunning talent,and what she does for friends in serious need of help. There is also an interview called Floor Jansen in Tilburg KRAAK vraagt door (eng subs),wich is just 3 weeks old on YT. I would also recommend "Floor Jansen interview 2022 @ HLF8 (ENG Subtitles)" where Floor gives even more information around the band,the beginning and so on. Im normally not a crier myself,but i swear Floor Jansen breaks me effortlessly! I have not experienced it with any male or female vocalist before. Thats why i claim still that she is indeed this Norse Viking Goddess (even with the Dutch accent and language) Her insane arms,and feet (not shaming her,i find her absolutely stunning and gorgeous,the only woman i have crushed on twice) has caused many people to rightfully admire her but at the same time question how on earth she got thoose biceps etc. Well,as a guy that got talked into working with horses at one point in my life,from a female friend that was the boss of the entire stable,i can confirm that to carry all the food that comes in weekly,to keep on carrying out water to them throughout the day,requires insane amount of strength,motivation,willpower and even stamina. Some of the hay that comes in with transport,each pile must be between 80-100KGs or above,they will ruin your back if you lift them the wrong way. And Floor has her own horses,so she does this daily (when not on tour) No wonder she looks like a true Xenia Warrior Princess or a buffer version of Wonder Woman to many people,and therefor has all theese petnames. Speaking of horses,her farm,other pets,her husband.... in this interview shes home at her farm: ARD Brisant - Floor Jansen (Nightwish) in Berlin 01.07.22 - German Interview, English subs. She even adresses how us calling her a goddess indeed makes her laugh.Its an inside joke of a compliment we have with her in The Nightwish Army,so she knows we dont seriously worship her like one,its simply a compliment and abit of humour involved. You will smile and laugh when you see just how she responds to us calling her The Goddess Of Metal. Floor is unmatched! I love her so much,wich includes endless support,respect and admiration. Let me just add that Floor Jansen and Nightwish was the first ones when the lockdowns happened during this pandemic,that decided to upload videos or go live,to talk to theyr followers,that things were gonna be just fine,we are gonna get through this together,urging us to stay safe and try to have a positive mind,eventhough it was difficult. Awhile after that,of course many others followed up wich was great. But it just goes to show that they did it first,not because they wanted to be first,not because they wanted to bask in the spotlight or whatever,but simply because this is a band that cares,and they wanted to show that "we are here for you!" How many bands out there does the same? I could never go back after so many experiences like that,Nightwish is the realest band i have ever experienced,they got the best vocalist in the world today,they got some of the best musicians in the world today in the band,and they got a true genius in the metal mozart,Tuomas himself. No wonder other bands and theyr supporters have said "how can we even compete,that band is beyond talented on every spot in the band!" Its when you hear this from people not that into Nightwish (having other favourite bands),and other bands members,that you know its true.
