I love this deck. The Normal Summon mechanic has made it WAAAYYY different from the rest of the meta when it came by and from the one of today. Yes, it can become bothersome when it starts to play in the opponent's turn, but... It's a Normal Summon deck. C'mon, you don't see that often! That's why I love Monarchs and Simorg, too. #MaxxCevaders
@FrostReave , doesn't require skill? I don't think so, sir. You're condemning the entire archetype because ONLY ONE of its best monsters (Snowl is its boss monster) has a floodgate effect. You can't special summon with this deck, limiting its options to almost nothing due to that condition. So, if one of those birds gets negated in the sequence, there's a high possibility that you disrupt their entire combo. The main reason this deck was so good was due to Dimensional Shifter, Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds, and Harpie's Feather Storm.
@@Timeater It doesn’t require skill it’s so easy to use. What you think deciding what to normal summon is difficult? It’s floodgate turbo because it’s most important end board card (Empen) is a floodgate, it often utilized Wind Barrier Statue, and it doesn’t use the graveyard so it encourages banish floodgates as well.
I run just dark simorgh in my floow deck as a tech, it is so funny when I face lab and I just suddenly pull out that, actually won me a lot of matches vs backrow heavy decks
Konami with normal summon mechanic decks: "What have I done?" Konami with 10-30 mins combo, almost unbreakable end board decks: "Who's my little negate monster? You are~". Also Konami literally playing favorites especially branded ngl Lmao.

hey I'm new to the Yu-Gi-Oh game and I'm planning to build this deck. i just have one question, can the extra deck just be random cards to utilize the pot?
Yup, if you don't want to use the extra deck, you can just put a bunch of random cards just for pot fodder, but also you can use things like soldier of chaos or relinquished anima, it depends of how you like to play it
