Florasis has had my interest for awhile now. To be completely honest, my interest has been 90% because of the gorgeous aesthetic and packaging. This collection, though, has my interest for the color story along with the packaging and theming. I probably won’t buy it unless I’m blown away by your review, though, only because of the pricing. But dang! It’s pretty!!❤

Fun fact! This collection is inspired by the rich horse culture in N. China and Mongolia! The embossing reflects their beautiful saddles and saddle bags 🏇

I have one Florasis palette and I adore it. I haven't been wanting new eyeshadows lately but this is tempting me. ..and that blush!!! Trying to decide if I want to try the powder.....

Wow I loooove this eye look! It is a color combination that I wouldn’t think of on my own, but the result is so ethereal and pretty. Especially with the shimmer finishes

Kackie! Thank you for recommending Prequel skincare. I have a giant birthmark that is chronically itchy, and the Barrier Repair lotion is the first non prescription product that has ever helped! Highly recommend for itchy queens. Thank you 😘

I LOVED those Item Beauty blushes! RIP. I would love to see a gathering of blushes and bronzers that have the same texture. They looked like skin when you applied them. Even when the color was loud- somehow the formula still created a skin texture.

Another Chinese brand with a similar premise in terms of products is Flower Knows, their packaging and embossing are also really well known among the C-beauty community. I've heard good things about their formulas - blush, eyeshadows, lip products, you name it. Flower Knows may be a brand worth checking out if you plan on exploring more Asian beauty!

i’ve been dyinggg to try floriasis, especially after seeing this collection online, and now i want to try this brand even more. this entire collection is BEAUTIFUL!!! i’d love to get the palette, blush, and lipstick!!! i don’t need the powders tbh. your eyes are sparkling and i love the way the blush and lipstick looks on you!!! you look GORGEOUS!!! ✨✨✨ ps… i can’t wait to see your reveal on your new finding ferdinand collection!!! i’m trying to be so patient.

Oohhhh that's cool to hear the blush is like the item beauty! I have one of them & wish i picked up more when they were around. Why is no one scooping up their formulas? I loved 95% of what i tried from the brand which was just about everything!

Oh thank you! It's volbella, so it's the most subtle material. And I only get it done every two years or so. My body holds onto it for...ever.

That green reminds me of Lisa Eldridge created palette by Este Lauder that was about $80 or $90

I couldn’t afford the palette, so I bought a Revlon Prismatic that had the green- use the shadows wet and love them.

Kiko Milano is a brand I’d recommend that I just found. They are the ‘ Fashion Week Backstage Make-Up Professional Artist Grade Brand’ similar to that of Addiction Tokyo in their product range and color intensities. Their New Glamour Palettes, New Cult Colours Palettes and Bright Quartet Palettes are incredible in their wear and presentation. For a vanity countertop presentation, as well. *Green Vibes* of the New Glamour Palettes, *Burgundy Variations* of the Bright Quartets Palettes & *Matte Revolution* of the New Cult Colours Palettes are my recommendations!

I feel like I'm in the minority that dislikes the super elaborate packaging that brands like Florasis and Flower Knows put out. They're beautiful but just not my thing. I prefer simpler, more sleek packaging. But I have been intrigued by the formulas that those companies have been putting out, like Florasis' eyeshadows (I got intrigued after watching Katie Jane Hughes apply them) and those new cream blushes from Flower Knows. The only thing holding me back from purchasing them is the longevity. I've heard both the eyeshadows and blushes having not-that-great longevity, and I live in SEA where it's always hot and humid. ETA: That eye look looks incredibly pretty on you, Kackie! I feel like you could wear that look to work in an office setting and still look polished and professional, but with a little pizzazz. Can't stop staring at it.

I actually do think the yellow is skin native! In a way of taking the most extreme color in your undertone and amplifying it, but it still looks very at home.

It’s really fun how they edit their color stories, but for whatever reason I tend not to be very compelled by this brand- maybe the opulent packaging with the more hit and miss powder formulations feels a little less luxury to me? Anyone feel similarly?

Yes, I’m totally turned off by the packaging. There’s a fine line between beautiful embossing and what my mom would call ‘ungapatchka,’ (meaning *overly ornate)…and IMO they have crossed it.

Yeah, it catches my eye visually , but I never buy it. Also, I tend to buy from places where I know the workers are compensated fairly and I don’t know about China. Not saying I wouldn’t, just saying I haven’t yet.

I already don’t trust most cosmetic companies in regard to their safety profiles since I use these things everyday. Does anyone worry about this brand re safety, I am not paranoid but it does cross my mind.

No, I think Florasis is a legit brand so they have rules to adhere to just like any brand in any country. Lots of makeup in general from various western brands are produced in China, so if you're worried with Florasis you need to be worried about any other brand that produces in China. The ones you need to be worried are the knock offs and unbranded ones, but as long as you purchase from reputable sites you'd be okay.

I wish this brand wasn’t reviewed so often - I’m not interested and it’s suspicious that everyone loves it so bc it look “meh” on everyone - sorry 😞- I feel like reviewing this brand is a low point of this makeup era
