Agreed, but for some reason . . . at least compared to other live performances she seems a little disconnected like she isn't entirely there. Through out the set though she shows signs of GETTING THERE half way through out this song. I think she was really deep in thought. Which is unfortunate because the filming and sound for GMA is great and she looks stunning.
Her performance of Hunger on Seth Meyers was amazing. She moved around the floor with a grace and mysticism that I hope to witness one day at her concerts.
I wanted to go in Hamburg next year, but all tickets are already gone.. :( But i saw her last year and it was freaking amazing.. so absolutely stunning! I almost cried when she was running past me and my friend to the other side of the hall..
You never know Louis - i hope u get your wish. She announced 3 tiny venue dates here in May & i was SO desperate to get 1 of those tickets but they sold out in less than 30 mins & my poor dad (who was trying to get them 4 me coz i was stuck at work) was so gutted that he failed to grab them. I didn't give up tho. Trawled the resale sites (where people were selling the tix they couldn't use for face value) & managed to snag 2 tix, middle centre seats at a lovely intomate venue in Halifax - couldn't have been more perfect if i'd planned it. Nice little 40th birthday prezzy to myself. It was AMAZING! Good luck to you - i hope u get to experience that kind of kismet too 😉
Granted it's not really one of their more popular songs but listening and looking at her performance and energy - I wonder why most of hte audience is not going crazy!
A question on the lyrics: Is it "Judas is a bitch" or "Hubris is a bitch"? I seem to have heard it both ways. And different lyrics on the web have it one way or the other. The second one seems more poetic to me.
I really like Florence. A lot. But sometimes I wonder if her singing is healthy. There are times where it sounds like and other times not. Maybe she is still a bit nervous. Don‘t know. Only Florence could tell.
