I was there front row and all I can say is Florence was my favorite performance of the weekend. I would have loved to see Foo Fighters but she totally did justice to them and she was a great headliner, she totally deserved to be given the Headliner place! I'm so happy she got it and I'm proud of the way she triumphally performed!

Had never really been aware of just how good Florence was until I watched her Glastonbury set. Definitely a fan ever since and at a time when so many singers sound the same, Florence’s vocals don’t need any technical support.

Some wierd comments on here, she is a rock star not an opera singer. Does Mick Jagger or Bob Dylan have a vocal coach? It was mix of Grace Slick and Stevie Nicks, full of energy and what rock should be. And the crack about not wearing shoes is pathetic.

Personally, I believe Florence is an artist who has designed her own signature style of preforming, and who has a voice I never tire of listening to. Most importantly she is classy, something missing in most artists. Individuals who must judge others, are petty, petulant children. It has been my observation that those people must criticize to demean, are without any true talent’s themselves, petty, insecure , and small minded

Sheelagh Southwell There was a sync problem with the big screens and the audio throughout the weekend. I told someone from security about it yet they failed to resolve it, so it was also televised to make it look like all the bands were miming. Very poor effort by the BBC.

I mean, when Florence made her debut everyone compared her to Kate Bush. Kate Bush also had similar hair at times and war similar things and did the same actions? Hand movements and things like that are prominent in theater and performance in general. Opera singers do it, Stevie nicks - Patti Smith - Grace Slick and more have done it.
