Congrats to FAU for earning a Final 4 berth. What a deep and gritty team. There is a reason they lost only three games this year. I always enjoy it when an unexpected team earns a Final 4 berth. This is why March Madness is so special.

they gave a clinic of offensive rebounds today, Goldin with some great plays as a center too. As you said better, deep and gritty squad, much deserved berth. This Final Four will be mad to watch, UConn is playing the honor of former champions tonight. Can you imagine if the Zags win and we get a Final Four with no former national champions and with, in the best scenario, only 3 Final Four apperances?

One of the classiest moments from this game was the K-State coach going to the FAU locker room and addressing the team. He basically said that they were great and don't let the pressure get to them. Mad respect!!

easy for me say from my couch, but I wish he would have shot that three on the second-to-last possession instead of passing it to the cutter. I know the defender was much taller, but he had created enough space to get a good shot off.

My wife worked at FAU for 30 years and retired a few years ago. Unfortunately, she passed away and is not here to see her Owls and their great season. She would've been so proud and excited, there's some sadness associated with that. Good luck and all the best in the Final Four! GO OWLS!

Can't get over how fantastic the atmosphere was at MSG - two non-traditional schools in the Elite Eight with no ties to the area and no national fanbases and the Garden was rocking. This felt like the big-time game that it was. A stone's throw from Broadway and these teams put on a show on a Saturday night.

Howard Schnellenberger changed the game when he decided to coach FAU football. Since then FAU athletics has been grinding away. The baseball program is usually good, the football program has a pretty rich Bowl History for a younger program and Kiffin put them on the map for a season, and now Dusty May has his boys in the Final Four. From the Sun Belt to CUSA to the AAC.

I almost had a heart attack from this game. A lot of the calls were questionable on both sides but that Nowell guy is so good. He single handedly kept KSU in the game at times. FAU has got to stop turning the ball over so much though. Looking forward to the next game! Go Owls!

I had them as a 4-seed based on the NET. Overall numbers better than St. Mary's, who got a 5. Committee does some weird stuff, but a lot of it is "have I heard of this team before?" FAU objectively a 4 (I had K State as a 5 on the same algorithm).

As a Gator fan, I don't have a rooting interest. But it looks like the Final Four may be worth checking out. UCONN looks pretty invincible right now.

I haven't watched "March Madness" for quite a few years and was amazed at how much more mobile, agile, adept and active these players are. Of course, I'm watching the highlights but still, three point accuracy is amazing and has helped open up the middle for drives to the hoop, passing and dunks. A double digit lead is not as safe as it once was and the last minutes of the game are not as often dreary, deliberate fouling and free throw shots. The three pointer was introduced a long time ago (1979) but was not as integral a part of the scoring strategy as it appears to have become now.

If you look.. CBI, NIT NCAAT C-USA is 17-1 record and 2 C-USA team in NIT final game.. seeding is just a number. FAU suppose to be seed4-5
