In this video I visit Viage Group in Sarasota to step aboard a 2024 Beneteau Antares 8 & 9, a 2019 Chriscraft 34, and then we take another trip to Caladesi Island Marina!

Awesome tour of dream boats. Like the new grill and seat additions.

Nice tours, Chris...but the views at the end were the best. Q for you: We're about to purchase the Cutwater 248 I mentioned in your last video. It's a 2022 and I think the owner fell out of love with it after the first year. So I'm expect it has a small quantity of (non-Ethanol) fuel in it for quite some time now. Engine service (and I will verify the fuel filters were included) was a few engine hours ago but done last June. I plan to deliver it myself from Jax to SW FL via the ICW. Would you recommend doing related to the fuel, given that brief history? About those Beneteaus, which BTW are built in Poland: Yes, very clever use of space. But those big spacious V-berths make for a spoon-like bow and I'd much rather go to sea on your Grady White. Always trade-offs, right?

Ah thank you Jack, I knew they were European but was not sure where built exactly. And you are absolutely right, I take the ride over my Grady offshore all day long, there is definitely no perfect boat! As far as your Cutwater, as long as the fuel is non-ethanol I would change the fuel filters and top it off with fresh fuel and you should be good to go. You may want to dump the old fuel filters in a jar and have a look at fuel just to get an idea if you are seeing any condensation or the fuel is looking stale, but I would assume as new as it is you should be just fine. Very excited for your purchase that is one beautiful do-it-all boat.

@@floridaboatguy Thanks, Chris. Great idea to put the fuel filters in a jar and see what's to be seen. Will be doing an oil analysis as part of the survey. Yeah, we're pretty excited too...but will be more so once we find a home for her. Ft. Myers area still hasn't replaced the destroyed marinas and all the rack storage facilities are full. Funny what we boaters will do to have a boat!

Congrats again on the purchase, safe travels getting her home! Hope all goes smoothly with survey and purchase. Being a 2022 I can’t imagine there will be any issues. Let me know how you like it
