Hey friends! In this video, my good friend Bri is back down in Florida visiting for a short time again. Of course, while she was down here she wanted to try and find a Megalodon Shark Tooth! So we went to a likely spot and hunted fossils like the fossil-obsessed people we are!

Kyle .. I also meant to say I appreciated the historical info on how the layers of earth were created as well as the info about what the megladon and other sharks nibbled on. If you run out of ideas for videos while we’re socially distancing, education info about identifying the different species, etc. would be great. Thanks.

Always awesome to see a fellow michighander out having fun, that tooth was perfect, im so jelly of all the cool fossils you have down there, the most i find here is lots of crinoids, corals, and brachiopods, some petosky where i am in southeast mi.

Thanks for yet another great video man... I grew up doing the same thing only not for fossils, but for indian artifacts... As well as some medal detecting... Hey Kyle, I hope you are hanging in there buddy. That creek was awesome. I think that's the type of spot (easily accessible)that would be perfect for my first fossil hunt. I don't know when that will be but I have been hooked since I discovered your and Chris's videos. It looks so exciting and any day spent in the water is a good day. Plus, I have always enjoyed panning for gemstones when in NC. Jeez, I'm all hyped up. I haven't left the house in nearly 2 wks and all the springs videos have me hyped up too. I used to hunt at this land site in my old neighborhood hood and I found around 4 or five 3 toed horse teeth and a killer 2 inch lower mako with Summerville colors (red and orange). Nice hunting!

What river where y’all near? I have always searched the peace river area and am curious what other areas are good. Also, any recommendations for learning about all the different time periods of Florida geological history and the corresponding fossils/species. I am trying to get better at classifying my own finds.
