Yea I Agree. For all of last year I even before that. We were Hearing All of the Backbiting From Old Coaches And Especially Ones that were Fired. Yea I am taking about Dan Mullen and TOAD 🐸 Grantham and Even Spurrier. So exactly what are they going to bring to the Table for the Florida Gators. Yea like ZIP Zero Zilch NADDA as In Nothing. Goodness I love this man. He cares so much about player development on and off the field. He’s building up quality men. You can tell he thinks things are finally up to his standard. Everybody there wants to be there & is bought in. Excited for year 3!

I think we all need to be more patient and supportive and less angry and negative. Whether we’d like to admit or or not this program was never going to be a quick turnaround regardless of who was here. Billy has spent all offseason making the changes he believes will push this team in the right direction and the players seem very excited and motivated about the changes that were made. Go Gators!🐊🐊🐊
@@AARon-fe1mo being angry drives change. CBN needs to perform this year so I get what I want either way. A winning football team or a chance at Lane Kiffin to add excitement again. This soft touch approach is no longer how you win in CFB.
I hope I'm looking forward now , to 25 - 26. We may be special again if ,UF , can keep it together this year. He did not deserve these last two schedules. No coach does. And this year , let's face it Will be worse. But next year and 26 , might be special.
Whew... i hope to continue throughout the rest of 2024 with the patience and optimism a lot of you have in this comment section. Forget the results the past season, but what worries me now are the in-game coaching decisions, time management, and lack of discipline. Idc, the red flags are red flagging. In spite of it all. I hope we improve and wish our team nothing but success
8:52-10:00 is what really concerns me where about BN more than anything else. The question was "how do we fix tackling?" and he goes on a minute long rant about practice structure and drills. He overcomplicates every thing, thinking that throwing more resources or having a system that is well thought out will inherently make it better. These dudes need to learn how to HIT. They need to learn how to dig down deep and give the next guy harder contact. Yeah there's a system you have to follow to get there but the main problem is that this team looks soft on film. It doesn't matter about practice structure or any of that mess, it matters about what you can do to get your guys to love contact and want to deliver a damn hit. It instantly reminds me of the Mizzou game where 10 had a clear hit on a receiver about to catch the ball, but instead of blowing the receiver up with his initial contact, he gets completely steamrolled himself with his legs in the air. In a moment like that it doesn't matter what drill you've done, what practice structure you have, how much familiarity there is in process or any of that junk. It matters how much you want to take the breathe out of the man in front of you by how much you want him and that ball on that ground, and that can't be taught by anything besides a tough coach that brings it out of you. There's very little technique involved in a play like that, it's all heart. Don't get me wrong, the technique matters, but it's completely secondary if the dudes just don't want to hit, and this team showed week after week that they do not like contact and are not getting a practice full of contact. A better answer would've simply been "we need to get them more contact in practice, find the guys that want to go out there and hit and get them playing fast." not some gobbly goop about practice structure and technique. Those problems are fixed in the weight room and on the wrestling mat, not the film room and during angle tackling drills, those come AFTER they learn how to hit. Then and only then do they get the PRIVILAGE of learning technique, until then, learn how to grit your teeth and hit with your eyes open. I guess at least we only have to suffer another season of this, whether it's cause they change for the better or Billy gets sent packing. Go Gators

Alright…. I like Napier, i want him and the team to succeed, but his interviews are horrendous. For a man who has (now) earned generational wealth, and leads a D1/P5 program, he says the least in the most amount of time.

I like Napier as a person but what proven things can you point to, to say I trust his judgment & we are going to be a solid team & win big games? He said the team was “light years ahead of last year” last off season… that proved to be WAYYY off.
What did you want him to say, it’s spring practice. At what part of the press conference were you looking for a plan. What I heard was the players are taking to the new staff not blowing them off. I heard practice flow is going well cause we’re in year 3. I head the offense and defense know how to compete against each other and still have respect for each other which is CULTURE. I mean damn what did you want to hear, I’m curious
@@dodgeguy31 he said it at the end we have areas we need get better, but that’s every team in the spring. I just don’t understand what yall want in the spring. If this was a fall press conference I could understand people being frustrated but he said OL looks good and we have depth, same for secondary.
