I have been saying this for the past two years. It feels like some sort of backhanded plan by him (possibly Stricklin too) to get fired and retire with a nice buyout. There is zero incentive for him to win with a contract set up the way his is set up.

Marshall has done way better this year. But the safety blitz has to go. As well as dropping the edges into coverage.

I miss a coach who’s play calling specifically won us games. Kentucky v UF in 2020 with the fake out punt return, Miami in 19 with a fake punt, miss state with the double pass, the Vanderbilt comeback with another fake punt. Mullen used his players and found niche’s. He knew Kadarius used to be a qb. Mullen doesn’t get enough credit for saving us a few times

Like I remember McElwain getting bailed out in 2017 two weeks in a row against Kentucky with a busted red zone coverage and the Tenn Hail Mary, but he lost some close games that Mullen would’ve won. Just a damn shame to think of how many close games Mullen would’ve won in ‘22-24.

Want a proven record?? Lincoln Riley...He is the first coach to mentor 3 heisman trophy quarterbacks.....and now the first coach with three #1 QB picks in the NFL draft ...lets not forget...DJ Lagway....the three statutes at the swamp are QB's. A high-powered spread offense is what us Florida fans want to see..an average defense would be nice..

I think we struggle most w dual threat QBs. Combined their pocket passer w out the escapability & their bad o line and I think this matchup favors us. If we dnt give up many big plays like u said. Bridges needs to start in place of Douglas for starters

The I'm not going to any games or watching until a new staff is in place. I might watch if Napier is dismissed, just out of curiosity, but the staff isn't good either. The program has regressed so much. It's brutal and sad. The product, schemes and play-calling are as ineffective as they are unwatchable. This is the worst Florida teams I've seen, and I watched the 0-10-1 Gators as a kid in 1979. Billy has proven incapable of leading this program. He's a lame duck.
