I miss a coach who’s play calling specifically won us games. Kentucky v UF in 2020 with the fake out punt return, Miami in 19 with a fake punt, miss state with the double pass, the Vanderbilt comeback with another fake punt. Mullen used his players and found niche’s. He knew Kadarius used to be a qb. Mullen doesn’t get enough credit for saving us a few times
Like I remember McElwain getting bailed out in 2017 two weeks in a row against Kentucky with a busted red zone coverage and the Tenn Hail Mary, but he lost some close games that Mullen would’ve won. Just a damn shame to think of how many close games Mullen would’ve won in ‘22-24.
I appreciate you all so much but man I'm so tired of the repetitive with not just y'all it's just like this man seriously it's like getting a birthday with all your friends and they don't give you no presents and there's no candles on your birthday cake
Man are you kidding me we've been the most patient Florida faithful fed base ever we've been waiting forever coming from a 83 baby I've been waiting since 1992
I am so tired of all these exclamation people looking at the bad what's wrong with the good yeah let's put a little bit of bad is it good but let's focus on the good it's so easy do unto others what you want done to you it is so easy in football that's exactly what we do in football take care of the bed next to you
Actually I've been pondering about starting my own Channel with with enthusiasm and just wanting to be a fan no doubles no bulshit know statistics nothing like that just passionate Gator fans and I will be there soon!
Napier has fielded a G5 program because he’s G5. UF leadership (minus Stricklin) needs to decide if UF is going to be an elite blue blood. If they are then they have to start funding that way and hiring that way. No more ready fire aim crap. No more chasing hot names or flavors of the season. Stop accepting mediocrity. Stop accepting excuses. Demand a high standard and then act accordingly.
All the university presidents need to meet with sports agents and inform them the days of excessive buyouts are over, to reduce them or they will eliminate them. Also, the schools need to avoid some of those buyouts by just reassigning the fired coach to other duties within the athletic department, at just their base salaries. They take away all the incentive for a coach to succeed knowing if they fire him they have to set him up for life. That’s rediculous.
They can't even do the most simple things in a football game. They are the most poorly coached team I've ever seen. I'm getting very similar vibes from the Arkansas game last year for this Miss St game.
I suspect it's not bad players but bad coaches. The players that have left UF in the portal are doing very well because they are being coached and given a chance to succeed due to scheme and playcalling.
Rob Sale has NFL experience So does Decoster with the Browns . Will Harris coached for the Los Angeles Chargers. Gerald Chatman was supposed to be firery defensive line coach.
Hearing the success of the Gators who left in the portal having great success means it is not largely a player issue but practice coaching, in-game coaching, play-calling and team toughness.
I’m done with Billy Napier he start the most average players over his best players and it’s not going to get any better with this average coaching staff, there’s no way you in year 3 your offensive line and defensive line are trash and Soft..there’s no more excuses for Billy he had enough time and the reason why his players are better on the practice field is because they’re playing average players.
The success to Napier in practice is both lines look better against themselves because neither is any good. So oline able to block a poor defensive line and vice versa . They suck period so practice is always going to look better because they ain't no good. Napier can't tell the difference because he never seen the difference. He Sunbelt and what he did in Louisiana doesn't translate in the SEC.
Miss State is going to drop in an Amazon delivery boy they found for QB last week and whip us by a dime, at the least. The qb thing is me joking, us getting beat by 10 is what I bet on.
Your show is awesome and I hate that you have to talk about a dumpster fire for the rest of this year. I hate the fact I marked days off the calendar starting in November and started doing the same thing last week. I am over it….But, I will keep watching/listening….
I think we struggle most w dual threat QBs. Combined their pocket passer w out the escapability & their bad o line and I think this matchup favors us. If we dnt give up many big plays like u said. Bridges needs to start in place of Douglas for starters
Want a proven record?? Lincoln Riley...He is the first coach to mentor 3 heisman trophy quarterbacks.....and now the first coach with three #1 QB picks in the NFL draft ...lets not forget...DJ Lagway....the three statutes at the swamp are QB's. A high-powered spread offense is what us Florida fans want to see..an average defense would be nice..
I have been saying this for the past two years. It feels like some sort of backhanded plan by him (possibly Stricklin too) to get fired and retire with a nice buyout. There is zero incentive for him to win with a contract set up the way his is set up.
The I'm not going to any games or watching until a new staff is in place. I might watch if Napier is dismissed, just out of curiosity, but the staff isn't good either. The program has regressed so much. It's brutal and sad. The product, schemes and play-calling are as ineffective as they are unwatchable. This is the worst Florida teams I've seen, and I watched the 0-10-1 Gators as a kid in 1979. Billy has proven incapable of leading this program. He's a lame duck.
