Hey, where is your kayak… Hey, that’s not Florida… I hope you are going to do some fishing!
I took a few months’ vacation to Connecticut and did not have the opportunity to trailer my kayak up here. Heck, the water is 54 degrees. Oh, but I am going to do some fishing. Late May and June are excellent months for Striper fishing and Fluke fishing, so the next few episodes will be land based New England fishing. If I can make some friends (think boat owners), then we will get into some of that as well. I’ll be back in the kayak soon. Come along and enjoy the day with me… Tight Lines!

Great video off the kayak! That jig with the red otter tail would be so good for northern pike around here. Bass and even musky would like it also. Nice stripers!

Hi Kevin, Welcome back up North. The fishing reports, here in South Jersey, have the big Stripers and Blues moving into your area soon. Check out John Skinner's channel. He fishes out of Greenport, on L.I.'s north fork. Also Jerry Ruff has "Fish Your Way" channel, from L.I. south shore. They may give you an preview of what is coming in your direction. We just got back from Tampa and Orlando on Wednesday. We were visiting family. Good luck, Mickey

Hi Mickey, I am watching the reports and I am seeing the same thing as you mentioned. I’m getting a lot of schoolie’s and a few blues. All in the 20 inch range.
