Would love to see you go back to that river and hit some of the other Springs? Lettuce Springs, roof Springs, and all those great springs back there. Near the 3 bird islands down near Salt Creek.

Thank you Mr. Cliff for another great video. I recently subscribed to your channel, enjoy all of your videos. My wife and I recently took our Sea Eagle 370 out, on a harbor paddle here in Southern Cali at Huntington Harbor , loved it, was surprised that this kayak would still hold air after 5 years in the garage, and now am looking into a versatile Sea Eagle inflatable for a future filled with great times on the water. We are looking at the 380X , the 385 FT, and the paddle ski. We have several scenarios for each type where we live. Ocean, harbor, river, lakes , and maybe some class 1, 2, and maybe even 3 river runs within a 4-5 hour drive . Thanks again for a very entertaining, inspiring, and informative channel…

Hi Keith - Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! For everything you want to do, including Class 1-3 river runs, the Explorer would be the boat for you. It’s an excellent do everything boat, just realize it is slower to paddle when on flat waters, but you can always had a Bixpy skeg motor for that added e-kayaking kick when on calm, flat waters. The Paddle Ski is great with a motor, but not very good at all for paddling, unless you are using pushing winds and currents to you advantage. I’m including product links and adventure video links of me in both of these boats. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! Mesmerized by this video! Heading to Florida from Colorado in January. Just need to decide between the Sea Eagle 385 Fasttrack and the 437 Paddleski. Sure like the speed of the outboard motor to quickly get you to the really cool spots you want to slow down in and explore!
@KayakCliff
@KayakCliff 2 года назад
Thanks for the comments Gil! Both are great options. If you are going to paddle more and motor less, I would go with the FastTrack. If you are going to motor more, paddle less, but still like the opportunity to kayak paddle or the stability to stand up paddle board - then the PaddleSki with the 5HP or electric is the answer for you. Do you keep the transom (and the bow bar?) attached when you fold it up and store it?
@KayakCliff
@KayakCliff Год назад
Hi 👋 there! For me, it works best logistically if I just keep the transom on and roll it up, I do take off the stabilizer bar in the front though. That is very easy to put back on. Once I roll it up, I run a strap around it to hold it together, and it is very easy to store.
