@@swinfough I tried linking a podcast where he talks about it but it must've got auto flagged and deleted, but look up, "breaking point accuracy podcast" and the timestamp is 34:41
Police: "Did you think that you were smart enough to take on an entire SWAT Team?!" Suspect: "No. But, i did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night."
"Front Desk." "I'm in room 515...I'd like to report a noise complaint upstairs. I don't know what they're doing up there, but maybe send someone to see if they'll quiet down."
my step dad and my mom combined have over 80 years working in a mental hospital. my mom's favorite saying you can NEVER anticipate crazy. you can never trust crazy. and this guy was gone long before the cops showed up
Interviewer: “Your interview was scheduled 35 minutes ago. Why are you late?” Interviewee: “I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.” Interviewer: “And you made it in?? That’s dedication. Say no more; you’re hired.”
Imagine chilling in ur hotel room and suddenly bullets fly around you Edit: thanks for all the comments and likes and tysm donut you made my day everyone
They clear the people out of the rooms don’t they? I know there’s a chance you alert the suspect but it seems like a legal nightmare if someone were to die in the next room that could have easily been removed from the situation.
I’ve worked front desk, if I had to call and they said were sending swat id be calling the nearby rooms telling them to leave. They can come watch on the hallway camera with me.
More like "Are they going to go into the wrong room and unalive me? Are they going to shoot stray fire through those paper thin walls and at me? me F-word! F-Word! F-Word. ".
@@FridelainMe personally? I'd go as per following: "Ah damn, it's the cops in the room besides? Shooting a holy mcflurry of bullets? Should PROBABLY lay down on the ground!"
LOL! "Laverne and Shirley" Circa the '70's (Shirley lamenting that the stage in her life she would wind up a man with a square head, no neck and hair on his thumbs) Classic. Sorry I went straight there with the thumb comment.
Me too 😂 I rewinded that part and continued cackling a shameful amount of times. The way he says it is so casual it floors me just thinking about it 😂😂😂😂😂
@@XXXX-lv2hc "i swear to god, i think he might be trying to re-enact some of the scenes as well, because he just punched several tiny holes in my wall, and it somehow shattered the windows as well."
Speaking of Florida... A month ago there was an officer involved shooting here in my hometown of Sarasota. A bad guy robbed a bank with a firearm, fled and the next day cops caught up with him. He tried to flee, but was pitted and spun into a small pond where he picked up his gun and pointed it at his head. He then decided to point it at the multiple officers who were facing him and let off one shot and the officers returned in kind. There is body camera footage of this incident from multiple angles and it was wild, from the pitting to the shooting and potential crossfire.
Much like the hotel lot Dollar Store Highlander remake. That ended badly but the cops are okay. Dumpy decided to draw his big Katana 🗡. Excited Delirium & swords? ⬇️
@@toxicgracie3772 Until you fuq up just one time and now I gotta fire your goofy as$ cause you just spent 40 minutes out of your hour cleaning the parts you weren't supposed to be painting...
The video of this was absolutely wild to watch, I saw it a few days ago. Some seriously high pucker factor going on considering that hallway turned into a 2-way shooting range lmao. Solid job on the officers though, they did a decent job keeping out of line of fire and not flagging too much.
Our friend is the one who was shot twice .. Such a great guy and I’m very grateful that nothing worse happened. Even with the vest on his upper chest was all black and bruised up . His upper arm where he was shot was all bandaged up . One great officer. Glad to see he was not injured worse than what happened. But I know mentally it was traumatic for him
Imagine trying to go downstairs to get some mid hotel breakfast and a massive shootout breaks out so you gotta stand there at the end of the hall watching the chaos waiting for coffee
If you do that you're pretty stupid. That's when you go back the way you came and get as much barriers between you and the shooting as possible. Standing there watching a shootout is usually a bad idea, especially one at the end of your hall. Not to mention the distraction you would create for the officers.
It's Fort Cavazos, get with the political correctness. Hey, good news, the name change seemed to fix the toxic leadership problem on base ... just kidding. 😂
3:28 I like that the operator is almost relaying his trash talking word-for-word to the cops LOL Like: "He's saying he's really good at shooting and will easily kill you all, guys" The cops: Are you on his side or something!?!
In case anybody is wondering, that is a Cloud Defensive MCH handheld flashlight. If you've never had a decent flashlight then this one will really surprise you
Haha, i’m a flashlight junkie who’s always had flashlights for about 32 years now… I remember losing my favorite flashlight that beamed the Bat Signal @ about 8yrs old and being sad.. had all the mag lights and now have about $2000 worth of high quality flashlights 🤦🏽♂️, that’s not including the weapon mounted ones.
From the knowledge they had, this was a good way to handle the situation, they could have attempted more communication, but he likely would've started blasting then through the door. Honestly, this was one of the best ways they could have gone about this situation.
@@joshua511 saw it a couple hours ago the female officers thought it was best to just run out of the room as soon as another officer yelled hes got my gun
Get well soon, Cody. I too have terrible allergies, and all my life I've gotten made fun of for them. People don't take you seriously when you say you've got bad allergies, and so many times in my life I've gone days or even weeks at a time feeling horrible only to suddenly clear up and remember what being human feels like. Much love and support to you, and God bless.
@@ShootinShiba Same here, friend. I spend much of my life with "brain fog" due to stress on top of having a head full of snot and other allergy related issues. "It's just allergies" is something I've heard my entire life, and it's just so disheartening to feel like crap 90% of the time to the point I forget when "normal" feels like, only to be crapped on by friends and family because "It's just allergies." Much love, friend. Stay strong.
Be well brother! Just got back to Canada from my snowbird session in Florida. It is crazy down there. Thanks for being there to bring me back to reality. Thanks to channels like yours and ASP, I keep my head on a swivel down there. ( sure wish I could carry up here. )
@@nuhuh4564 yes, I did say I was from Canada. It sucks up here. Just not as likely to come up against a gun. Also, per capita, there are more Florida men in Florida. Toronto man is a different species, he's more likely to pee on your shoe.
Ngl, the strained voice of Donut with the flu coupled with the excited pitch makes the narration sound more sarcastic than usual, and I love it! Also, I approve of the f*cking of trees because they need some love too.
There was an incident in Orlando a long time back. SWAT teams were having a convention in Orlando and some idiot broke into a local gun shop. The whole convention responded to the break in.
"...more communication..." Homeboy, no one is in the same dimension to attempt that. I'd only be concerned with the amount of lead flying around that hotel hallway that no one else on that floor caught strays.
The delivery of “this guy who looks like a THUMB” had me nearly choking on my drink in CLASS. This is one of my favorite videos that Doughnut has ever done!!
The information they had suggested someone else was behind that door, possibly a hostage. Was shooting blind through the door correct with that information?
At 6:30 it almost looks like the guy inside the room slides the "do not disturb" door hanger out from under the door 😂. Obviously it fell off the door handle, but it looks like he's saying "nah man, let me sleep!" 😅
“Hello. Holiday Inn Express. How may I help you?” “Yes. I would like to book the room that the dude got turned into Swiss cheese in, please.” “Well, the blood smears have been cleaned up, but, the bullet holes are still there. Will this be a problem?” “Nope. I’ll take it.”
My daughter said it the best when she was 5yrs old. "The outside is trying to murder me." Fell free to put that on a shirt. It can mean so many things.
Hats off to that officer rocking his Fixed Carry Handle AR-15. In the world as we are in the tactical-gucci environment, the Fixed-Carry Handles are still going pretty strong. This officer got the D R I P. The officer rocking the plate carrier and the high-cut helmet shooting his Fixed-Carry Handle AR-15 through the door at 6:05
The door next door gives me some real pucker factor. I hope they made sure that room was empty before turning the area into a lead tornado. Some dude on a business or vacation hears a bunch of noise outside his room, hears police screaming, and then that mutual wall suddenly turns into a boss from Enter The Gungeon.
