My dad has a pair of cat 3412e’s on his boat when I was a kid. If you’re a gearhead, that is a sound you’ll never forget if you’re fortunate enough to hear it in person. That thrust you feel in your neck when the turbos lite is unmatched 🙌🏻

@@jlalbee yeah no those are MTU 2000 series for sure i can see the chrome valve covers at 1:10 on the starboard engine MAN did have some with em tho but they are older 2000’s not like the M94’s i work on now ...cat looks noting like this and as for the filter that’s typical airsep system in marine application i have one on my pickup truck
