Fallen human nature corrupts any system. A constitutional republic or a democracy requires many people to have high levels of integrity for it to work. Only nations dominated by Christian morality can sustain such systems. Ultimately a benevolent dictatorship with top down appointed governors will be established. @@ronjohnson684 True. All evidence suggests (to me, at least) that the antichrist will be rising to power likely within the next several years. Several as in 'less than ten,' or so it would appear. I'm looking first for fulfillment of Psalm 83/Ezekiel 38. If my understanding is correct, Revelations 18 follows soon after. On current course, we appear to be barreling toward civil war in the USA and/or world war; perhaps when the CCP figures out that the USA has been snatched out from under their clutches when/if the rigged election results are rejected by the state legislatures per the Constitution of the United States! This is certain to enrage the "Beast," which will turn on the USA. It is partly why I believe that it is very likely that Donald J Trump will serve a second term! Although, that is not a "prediction." It is just that under Trump's presidency, the USA is standing in the way of the New World Order, aka the "Great Reset," as it has recently been dubbed. Bible prophecy indicates that the Beast HATES the "whore" (a false church in Bible prophecy) that rides it. The "Beast," of course, is the prospective global government, single currency and single [state] religion of "globalism" (global communism). I don't have a crystal ball and I am not a prophet. I honestly don't know how this plays out. All I know is that God's will be done and that prophecy will be fulfilled one way or another. I've described the way things currently appear to be heading based solely on my own perceptions of current events. God has a way of shaking things up and making the seemingly impossible possible. Anyone who reads the Bible for understanding knows that.
