I’ve just booked flights for February to hike this trail - I will borrow your bucket idea! I plan to start at the Lake where can I find isobutane for my stove since I can’t fly with it.

I'm doing the Hungryland to Hobe Sound Beach this month and then will do the Hungryland to Lake on another trip. You saw a lot of water during the dry season. I better get out there and finish to the west before the rainy season starts and will need to use water wings. I really enjoyed your video. I laughed because I totally relate to falling. I fell in thigh high water last month in Micco. Can't wait to see your part 2 video.
Ok there are so many things wrong here. Drinking swamp water without boiling is crazy filtering it thru a bandana is not good enough and night hiking in the swamp crazy as well unless you have a gun
Haha! Thanks for the comment. We were only pre-filtering with the bandana to keep the Sawyer Squeeze from getting clogged with sediment. No need to boil if you filter properly. And hiking in the swamp at night was a blast! I would highly recommend it.
