Florida to The Bahamas in a Small Boat - Crossing the Open Ocean to Reap Bimini Paradise 

I moved to Florida specifically after watching the awesome vids on this channel. Love life by the bow!

I’ve been following you guys for a long time now and I must say, your production quality is insane. The additional time that goes into producing something like this doesn’t go unnoticed - even from casual RU-vidrs like me. Great work!

First time on your channel. You have the best drone footage I have see on a video. Love the low close up shots. Most people think this is to risky but you make it look easy.

While this trip was epic for your group, 62 years ago my dad & myself traveled from West Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island & back in an 18 foot skiff powered by an 80HP Volvo I/O. We made the trip with another same size craft & encountered 6 - 8 foot swells along the way. My Dad wad an excellent boater & this was accomplished decades before modern electronics like chart plotters & Loran or GPS. You maybe know something about using Nautical charts & offsets for the Gulf Stream Current. You probably do not know how to use a sextant for navigation but the "old timers" did.

My head and heart is full of the magic days in my memory of West coast Fla., And the Keys, cruising perfect weather, crystal seas, fair winds, it changes everything about you, forever.

From the bottom of my heart, I really appreciate you guys delivering on these great videos. I absolutely enjoy them, some of the best quality I've ever seen, y'all do a great job. I'm retired now, and can't get out like I used to, have to sell everything. So once again thanks , this really makes my life better by seeing these wonderful videos of fishing, the ventures, and the scenery is phenomenal.

I had the privilege of making that trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Bimini on a 25 ft Grady White. By far one of my best memories on a boat.

Crossed from Largo to Bimini by sail some 25 years ago or so. Was foolhardy, but blessed with perfect weather similar to those glass conditions you experienced. Memories forever.

Beautiful video. Great trip to Bimini. I did that many times in my 21’ Seabird. My gunnels were quite a bit higher than your Pathfinder so i never gave it much thought safety wise. I did pick my weather just as you did. Great filming, thanks for sharing.

Super exciting run and glad you had several other boats with you guys. Back in the 60’s we used to run to Bimini from Elliot Key too and that beautiful water is so worth the trip. Nice job under water with the bugs Clay! Videography was stellar as always… almost felt that water. 👍

You guys are so blessed! I would give anything to be able to do what you do. I went to Florida couple years ago, my first time ever fishing in the ocean. We were about 30 miles out. Caught a bunch of red snapper and blue fish. Also caught a tiger shark. Absolutely amazing for an Arizona boy. I fell in love with the boat that I was on and I had to buy one. You cannot get a bay boat or center consul in Arizona. Took me about a year but I found a Carolina skiff 22 foot bay runner in Mississippi and I had to buy it. Absolutely love it. I’m gonna drag it back to Florida one of these days and I would love to go fishing with you guys.

I've never seen the ocean water being like a glass carpet. While I am stuck at my house due to covid, I just experienced to one of my favorite places. As always, thank you so much for sharing the great experience. You gave me the hope that you are crossing to Bahama with the Pathfinder.
