USA Baby! It's a Florida travel day as I catch an Aer Lingus Business Class flight from Manchester to Orlando and review the offering compared to the Aer Lingus Economy experience we had just a few weeks ago!

Our day begins at Manchester Airport inside the 1903 Lounge before boarding the A330-300 'St Patrick' Aer Lingus plane straight to Orlando as well as hopping into Walt Disney World to tick off the two rollercoasters left for me to ride at the resort.

I have not flown cattle class in decades. And I never ever will do so again, unless it's only a one or two hour flight. But long haul? No way! Only business or first.

With a condition I have I always have to have a good sleep or at least try to in order to feel okay so being relaxed etc is very important. Long haul I’ll always try to go business or any class that has a lie down bed for sure! Aha

Hahha I did that on purpose because if you notice the control is out of the seat… that’s not in the vlog.. so it adds context without me adding the clip in… Inception is real 😂😂

Miles better than Virgin’s Upper Class for me, I’d only do Upper Class again if I got to check out their London lounge because on board it’s 3 times the price as this flight and feels like a lesser product

Haha I just love travelling full stop! At one moment in time I was told I wouldn’t be able to travel much due to my condition, safe to say I’m proving them wrong 😂

Unfortunately I flew with them from Dublin to Chicago and the aircraft was an absolute piece of junk. Nothing worked on it. TV's didn't work, WiFi didn't work and they had to move me three times because the seats were broken. The thought crossed my mind that if they can't even fix a bloody seat then what else is broken on the aircraft that we can't see? That piece of junk was not fit to be in the air. Evidently they're using the better aircraft on the Manchester route and using the older junk on the Irish/US route. Oh and a friend of mine flew with them on the same aircraft a couple of weeks later and nothing was fixed. I'll not fly with them again.

If I have a distraction like a camera to look at etc it’s so much easier but with flights I pull the blinds down and focus on the screens whether on the back of my chair or my phone or laptop. Helps a tonne!

They have it in Economy too but it's charged whereas it's included in Business Class, it was very very slow but more than enough for WhatsApp messages etc just nothing too taxing. It took 20 mins for my emails to all load up... not fun aha

The full total of the return flight was £1423 (including taxes etc) but I’m afraid I can’t remember how much BC was on its own but it was less than £1k for sure

@@markgawne5919Me either mate and after an airport power cut our luggage got left behind and they were nothing short of horrendous in communicating with us to get it back. Decided to try them again as I heard their business offering was better than Virgin’s which I found hard to believe but after experiencing it, it absolutely wipes the floor with Virgin’s Upper Class for a fraction of the cost!

With me having my movie site there was not much on the plane that I hadn’t seen already so I just ended up checking it out and crossing it off the list! Didn’t like the musical angle but it wasn’t terrible, it’ll never beat the original though!

WDW was dead yesterday most rides on 20-30 min queues so I’d say it’s a sweet spot currently but not sure if it’s a seasonal sweet spot if that makes sense! I wanted to head out early as I’ve got a busy Sept / Oct ahead!

It really was, I suffer from a few conditions + chronic fatigue so if I'm not well rested it can really make me unwell especially on long haul flights so I have to get some sleep, it wasn't too bad last trip in economy but I certainly felt it when I arrived so thought it best to get some rest this time around so I don't feel entirely crappy the whole time there!

how soon before travel can you use the MCP app?

You can fill in the app details at any time before you travel but ONLY when you land I'd recommend submitting it all as it comes up with an expiry window of 3-4 hours I believe for you to go to immigration. It works an absolute treat and how easily you skip the queue every single time is always a bonus, I'm genuinely surprised it's not more popular

@@LiftHillsandThrills hi me again. ive been looking into MPC again and it says "returning" waiver programme. We've had to apply for new ESTAs because our old ones have run out. Do you know if we can still use MPC or do we have to go through normal customs as we're not returning on a previously used waiver?
