Floral tape is a key element to have in your floral toolkit. In this tutorial I show you how to use the tape, so that you’ll have the best results when you’re DIY’ing your wedding flowers. Floral tape is commonly used when making boutonnieres, and it also has a great function when you need to attach a floral element to another element (i.e. to extend the length of a flower with a short stem)
Flower tape is paper, covered by wax, and it is not sticky until you gently tug on it, to activate the glue. When you’re using the floral tape, you need to continually keep tension on it, to keep the glue activated.
Once you know how to use floral tape, it’s super easy and second nature, but I found quite a few people weren’t sure how to use this cool product, so I made this video. Hope it helps you out!
