I enjoyed your video and when you stated you grew up in Michigan. I was born in Grand Rapids and then we moved to Petoskey, met my husband in Oleson's Food Store and now we are married May 19 will be our 31st. anniversary. Stay safe and warm. Walk in Peace.

Love you, so calm and lovely, I could watch over and over again .thanks for sharing twin peak primitives I’ve already downloaded the Springfield sampler, love it xxxx
I am so happy to have found you this evening. What a joy you are to listen to and have lovely taste in the projects you chose. Am looking forward to more from you and heading to watch your other one right now. I am getting back into cross stitch after many years of not doing it; but unfortunately, I am not as disciplined as many of you. Love the bowl in your hutch with the red stripe. I have my Memere's old yellowware bread bowl and cherish it. Happy stitching and stay safe; it certainly has been a crazy year.
So nice to hear all the appreciation for floss tube as I feel very much the same! it was fun seeing your projects, loved the twin peak primitives Springfield sampler you showed! Was so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom.
Enjoyed watching your video and love 💗 your finish I just purchased a kit from TwinPeak and can’t wait to get started. Have a wonderful evening and happy stitching 🧵 😊💗🤗🪡
Veere 1790...beautiful...loved that and all else you showed...thank you for taking time to make this FlossTube...wishing you Joy and Happy Stitching...congratulations on your first FlossTube Chrissy ❣️
Great job! Really enjoyed your video & all the projects your stitching. I love Jean at Brick City. I live in Augusta GA & order from her when I need stitchy stuff.
Welcome to Flosstube! Great first video. I'm originally from MI too and live in FL. If you ever get down to the St. Petersburg area, there is a great Cross Stitch shop called The Crafty Framer. Your son would be welcomed and they have dogs that love to be held and cuddled. The Twin Peaks patterns are gorgeous and the First Thanksgiving is on my list to purchase. Looking forward to your next video!
I just learned of you today watching Brenda and Laura. So glad you have a FlossTube channel. You are very comforting and soft spoken. I love everything you have stitched. They are gorgeous pieces. Thank you! Have a Blessed and Stitchy day!
Welcome to Flosstube!! I watch many of the same channels that you do, but two you didn’t mention are Carol of Saltbox Stitcher and also Shanda of Stitching in Idaho. Just though I would mention these in case you have not watched them. I am also doing the MFE 2021 SAL and I am enjoying it. I love seeing your Twin Peak Primitives patterns; I love them. I am so glad that you decided to make videos; I have subscribed and I can tell that I am going to enjoy your videos. I have the Twin Peak Primitives pattern that you showed at the end and I have it started with the called for colors. Love it. Happy stitching....................
Wow, welcome loved your 1st episode definitely subscribing. I love that you stitch on larger counts, I am very poor sighted and even with good lighting and magnification I can not stitch on high counts. Look foreward to more from you.
@@finallyafarmgirl Also, I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope the projects you and your Mom stitched together gives you comfort and you feel her love wrapped around you.
@@khayes9591 thank you❤️. At first it was actually hard to stitch without her, but I know she would feel so bad if I let that stop me from doing what we loved. I just moved through it with her watching over. Thank you again..
Awww, I share the same wedding anniversary as your grandparents, 1999 ….but that’s still technically last century too … Yikes…. That makes me feel old… although I still have a couple of years before I’m half a century old myself 😂🤗🤗🤗 1:34
Hi local cross stitcher. Really enjoyed your videos. Was at Brick City yesterday and knew you were gonna be stopping by, but I had to get back to pick up my daughter from work. I was sorry to miss you! The First Thanksgiving is beautiful. I got my fabric and picking out my colors to get ready and start. Looking forward to more videos.
Boy are you sure a natural 😊 I always enjoy keeping up with you and your beautiful family on IG and you are as delightful in real life. Understand exactly what you mean by forming connections and friendships by following and commenting through IG. Your projects are just absolutely beautiful. I admire your tenacity on stitching really large projects and how fast you seem to churn them out. Thank you so much for sharing you, your heart, your family and your beautiful work with us! Have a fantastic week ❤️
Vonna, thank you so much!! I really appreciate the time you took you watch and comment. Life gets really busy. Love watching you as well and your family journey. Such a creative family. Hugs sweet friend! Chrissy
First time finding and watching you. I currently live in Crawfordville Florida but use to live in Ocala. Brick City has such a special place in my heart! I look forward to getting to know you in these videos and will run over to Instagram to find you!
OMG! Country Stitchers gave you a shout out. I went straight to Instagram and had a look at your page. Love your projects and your stitching is beautiful! Looking forward to the next video.
Just discovered you today. The snowmen would be a nice Jolly July start. I have one wip that i wasn't able to finish in time for Christmas 2020. It actually looks doable. Someday i want to try one of Jacob's pieces. I must say I'm nervous about that as I'm a newbie and i stitch in hand.
WE are fortunate that you are doing floss tubes...Love your work and I am inspired,,.., Your positive attitude and relaxed approach to stitching makes me smile... . Looking forward to your next floss tube
Chrissy, in my book, YOU are a natural Flosstuber, relaxed, charming, and of course, enabling! Looking forward to seeing what else you have to share with us!
So happy to see someone on Flosstube from Michigan. I am from Grand Haven, MI. On Lake Michigan Lakeshore. Have jjust recently found all of these fabulous videos of cross stitchers on You Tube. Wish you success.
Hello! Thank you for sharing your love of cross stitch! I was taken with the pattern "Mother's Honor Due". I would love to honor my mom in the same way. Could you please share from where you obtained your pattern...please???
Thank you so much!! I just looked and I cannot find the pattern available anywhere right now. I purchased mine from Etsy. I did search ebay for you and nothing came up right now... I'll sorry but I'll keep checking for you over the best few days. It might be out of print.
Happy to meet you, I do follow you on Instagram. Your work is beautiful. I live in Michigan and am going to move to Florida within a year. I do believe it may be the Ocala area. Scary, have been in MI since I was 13, ( a long time ago) Missouri before that. Hard to decide where to land, have looked in Leesburg a lot too. I have visited Brick City many times. Absolutely lovely shop and people.
Hi!!! Oh that is exciting and I know scary too. I live very close to Leesburg. My dad lives in Leesburg. We really love central florida and specifically Lake County because the lakes and hills resemble Michigan. Minus the snow. Look forward to meeting you at Brick City one day.
@@finallyafarmgirl My friend lives in Clermont, hilly there, then I have a friend in Ocala, neither one cross stitch, but my Ocala friend is a quilter, she has a long arm. I have a pieced quilt there now she is doing. I do not have a Flosstube and am not on FB but I do have a Instagram if you want to look. fabricandthreadadventuers
Fabulous video!! Your projects are beautiful and your room is gorgeous. I’m so sorry about your mom, I lost mine in December so I know exactly how you feel. My stitching has been a huge stress relief for me and I’m sure it is for you too. I’m just thrilled you’re doing a video, thank you for sharing! I look forward to your next one. Oh! I just treasure how you framed your mom’s last piece and that engraved plaque you had put on it. Brought tears to my eyes and as a stitcher I think that is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen, a treasure and heirloom for you and your daughter. Thank you for all you’ve shared, you are very inspiring!
First I'm so very sorry for your loss. It certainly is a new normal that is hard to work through... Thank goodness for our stitching. I appreciate your kind words about preserving her last stitching piece. Hobby Lobby worked very hard to honor my mom with this piece. Hugs !!
Your video is wonderful ! So many good things to show and talk about. . Never wonder what you have to offer , because you produced a very relaxing and inspiring video. I love your Twin Peaks Primitive "Springfield" piece. Your color conversion is stunning and you will alway's remember doing the color changes with your mother. Thank you for sharing your love of cross stitch with us.
Thank you Chrissy, thoroughly enjoyed your floss tube. I do not do social media so you are completely new to me and I would not have thought this was your first floss tube, you were very natural and your pieces are beautiful. looking forward to many more, dashing off now to buy a pattern you showed.
Thank you for sharing your projects and creativity with us! Nice video, you are very easy to listen to. I see Miss Isabelle Black on the wall above your hutch - I’m almost done with her and have enjoyed stitching on her so much.
Thank you thank you and she was a joy to stitch! I know she has a gentleman to match but I kinda just like her... Happy Stitching and appreciate your kind words.
Enjoyed your video but would appreciate it if you’d look at the camera instead of off to the side. I’m sure figuring out where to look is the biggest challenge for filming videos. Anyway, thanks for taking the leap and sharing your stitching with the world!
@@finallyafarmgirl it’s all good because I generally just listen while I stitch or knit so I’m not always watching the screen. I just thought you would like to be aware.
Welcome to Floss Tube. I love Twin Peaks Primitive. I loved that piece you finished, and I love sheep and Scripture, so I probably should pick up that chart.
