Hi, lovely to see another flosstuber from the UK to watch, I started cross stitching in the 80’s, then I went on to other things but I picked it up about 10 years ago, designs have change so much , not so many of the cutesy, cartoonish designs, and so many different kinds of threads wow. Looking forward to seeing more of what you are stitching.

Yay!! Congrats on your intro flosstube; you did such an awesome job. It was lovely to see your office space and amazing view 😍 And thank you so much for the shout out; so kind of you 😄 I think we have a very similar story as I learned to cross stitch as a teenager and stopped around 15-18 years ago...when I fell in love with papercrafting! I was lucky enough to work with many companies and design teams and designed regularly for Papercraft Inspirations magazine. But I then fell back in love (obsession?!) with cross stitch and papercraft fell by the wayside...unless I'm FFO-ing! I have, of course, subscribed and can't wait to watch your next video 😄💜

So interesting to hear your papercrafting journey too, I am a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and have been for 16 years almost! I am loving stitching on an evening whilst on the sofa! Julie, your first video is great, so glad to put a face to the name on instagram!! I’ve loved following your progress on your stitchy projects and the peach one turned out beautifully. Can’t wait to see your next video, and more of the gorgeous Beulah! My dogs are coming up 12 & 8 but my little border terrier Lottie is the one who’s usually snuggled up against me while I stitch! And the view from your office is amazing…I’m a Yorkshire lass at heart but live in Northumberland near the coast xx

Oh hi Emma and thanks for leaving a comment, yes we are very lucky with where we live, but the pup is testing my patience today! Won't be at the next couple of meet ups as I am having an operation but I hope to be at the May one, if not then June.

Welcome back to cross stitch! I’m a returning one as well, from the early 80’s and yes lots of changes in so many things! Fabric, floss, designers and yes even glasses 🤓 as well ! I’ve subscribed and look forward to your next videos ! Beulah is adorable, I have a small Maltese named Bentley who is always near by when I’m stitching!💙

I too came back to cross stitching after 27 years and the internet has made it such a game changer! I also now need glasses and a magnifier 😂 I am looking forward to more videos from you and seeing your beautiful view and gorgeous pup.
