Flosstube #1 - Intro & WIP Parade

Welcome, Hannah! Welcome to the FlossTube community. Wonderful first video. I got my undergraduate degree in microbiology prior to going to medical school. I am now a retired physician. Look forward to more videos.

Welcome Hannah, I know Sarah will be shouting you out!! You are lovely! I love the idea of a x-stitch project bag❣ Oh Starry Night is one of my favorite paintings! Love to your Mom for sewing your project bags💕 You are smart! Please share the album on display. I also have a Big collection of albums that I still play. Mom, LOVE the John Wayne bag!! He was my mom's fave (I am 67+, Pollie would have been 100 her birthday April 7th this year❣) I have many charts to honor her, she was the best Mom💕 I love mushrooms too but haven't seen that one. It's adorable! You did just fine!!

Came for the stitching but love all the extras! I also love Pyrex - Gooseberry and Ivy are my favourites. And my vinyl collection. Although being a little smidge older than you, I have my original albums from the late 80s that I bought at the time. My dad had a huge collection - all the Beatles, Elvics, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Fleetwood Mac, Simon and Garfunkel - so much. But in the 80s when CDs came in, he gave them all to the op shop/thrift store, including all the Beatles singles, his numbered White Album, original Revolver, all of it! Can you believe it?! He said CDs were the future; I am still sad about it! ☹ Love all your stitching. I have wanted to do Starry Night for a while and there are so many versions of it, it is hard to choose. Good to hear the Riolis version is a good one. Love the Winter Quaker, and all the Quaker ones. And 100% with you on anything with mushrooms/toadstools! My business name is Tiny Toadstool Cottage, so I am all about the toadstools. So I also went straight to Sprouting Lupine's Etsy store - I also love the Love Bugs Sampler and Lady Amanita. Very much looking forward to more videos.

Welcome to FlossTube, Hannah. Loved seeing all your WIPS and look forward to your next video. The needle in the ankle made me laugh a bit, but, as you’ve found out, that’s the life of a stitcher. I actually stepped on a needle last week… not fun and am considering getting one of those magnet wands since I constantly drop needles. Again, your collection of works in progress are all so beautiful and will be following you to check on your progress.

Love your first podcast! Your WIP’s are really nice and I have some of the same in my stash! So funny you have the pheasant chart and have started it! I have it as well! Not sure I will ever stitch it but it’s really nice! I am a bird dog lover as well and use to have an Irish Setter! I love spaniels and pointers too! I hope one day to have a German Shorthair Pointer! Such nice dogs! Oh, I crochet too so will look forward to your projects! Will catch up on your other two videos next! Thanks for sharing! Can totally relate to stitching on one thing but want to be starting 20 other things. Market is a few weeks away…. I am trying to be structured in my wips as some I have pretty expensive finishing materials do so really putting those as priority. I can’t believe you we’re lucky enough to buy Disney when they were a reasonable price. U could sell just the pattern on eBay. I have seen that while watching for kits.

Great job!! Love your projects!! How you find for so many projects AND a full-time student-fantastic. Guess it’s relaxing. Duh. Lol. Beautiful stitching and such small counts!! Well you also have young eyes!! Some of your projects I know are on high counts-as you stated. But sometimes hard to gauge the size through video. You stitching them over open? Or over two? Or!varies from project to project?
