Oh no!! I just heard what you said about spilling the hot chocolate on "Dreaming of a White Christmas." Yea, you are probably just better off getting new thread and fabric (you could probably get it out of the fabric but not too sure about how it would wash out of the floss). I love everything else you are working on for December! We haven't gotten any snow yet here on the coast. Have fun at the Christmas dinner in Portsmouth!
