Such a shame there is odd one that does what you described. Block and move on as you have. Thankfully its the minority and you have a wonderful community. I love your updates and your progress or lack of at times due to life stuff and I love all of it. Life is like that and you give an honest account of that. Keep doing what your doing its wonderful xx

I just discovered your flosstube 2 months ago and binge watched a lot of them all at once. I love your natural vlogging style, and your stitching is not at all competitive it's motivating. You obviously have a full and busy life with family and work and still give yourself time to stitch and be creative. You are also generous in sharing your knowledge and how you do things in case it helps others which is so nice. Please don't change!
Emily, I absolutely adore your videos. You are a lovely presence in the stitching community . Those individuals that choose to use this platform to show us all how sad and void of happiness and manners in their life , need our pity. But, they do not reflect who you are and how you live. Remain true to who you are.😊
I got a nasty comment from this person once too. Not even on my channel but on a comment from me to another flosstuber. It was pretty hurtful, and not even about my videos. I don’t really think this person is completely sane to be fair. Good for you though for sticking up to yourself. This is your channel, your rules.❤

I don't miss any of your videos. One reason is because I really like your attitude. You don't make a big fuss about things and just 'get on with it'. I'm also in awe of how much stitching you get done. Don't hesitate blocking anyone that is being negative. Life is too short.

June was such a busy month for you! The prom dress turned out so beautiful! Working those stitches in 939 sure makes a big difference. Love how you fixed your biscuit debacle. Hi Emily! Congrats to Maddie on her degree and graduation. I hope the nasty commenter didn't tempt you to change your style of floss tube. You are unique and your subscribers love you the way you are! Thanks for the pics of Maddie's prom dress, cape, and graduation! I had to laugh at your expression since I have seen something similar on my face when we were moving my daughter from apartment to apartment or apartment to home during the college years. Your new Long Dog is looking gorgeous. I have hardly stitched since 6/24 when we came back from grocery shopping to find the apartment next to ours had had a fire. We weren't allowed back into the apartment for a while until the carbon monoxide levels dropped to safe enough levels for us to be able to go in and see if our cats were okay. The level dropped to 12 and they allowed us to go in and find our cats. I called my daughter while we were waiting to let her know she might have unexpected guests in her craft area along with 2 cats. The next day we were finally allowed in to unpack the groceries and mop up what remaining water there was on the floor. My bedroom, bathroom and closet had standing water in them. We just got the cleaning crew in this week, had 2 HEPA filters and a super heater/dehumidifier running for a couple of weeks. Sleep has been spotty since then and my nerves have been shot since we have been trying to find a different place to rent for a couple of months. Way too much stress going on. I hope your job works out and the hours are not a permanent cut. Take care, happy stitching, and hopefully less stress over the next few weeks. Dawn in Texas

I was watching a really exciting game of tennis when I saw your flosstube posted. Of course I abandoned it to watch you. That's how much I love your videos. Okay another comment-first off, I love your WIP parades and would love to see one! Second regarding cosmo. I had a cat that was like that and we tried everything for allergy and inflammation with no luck. Come to find out it was basically kitty anxiety (like some humans pick their cuticles) and we started Prozac for them and they lived a long healthy non-scratchy non-anxious 13 years! Just something to maybe mention to the vet.

Emily, you are perfect exactly the way you are. DO NOT CHANGE! That person is mentally unstable and should get professional help! Good for you that you deleted her off your site! I am totally impressed with your progress on your projects! You keep me moving on my full coverage. I also have several waiting to be started in the fall as I am determined to have progress on my summer projects. Joy, joy joy!!! You are the best! You have helped me get through my breast cancer recovery wonderfully. My husband said, "Why don't you get together with Emily?" I said, I would love to but she's in the U.K.! Lol Excellent idea with the brush! I'm adding one to my stitching tool chest- yes, it's a rolling full on tool chest that you would have in your garage but this is in my room full of tools I would use in stitching- lights, magnets, scissors, rulers, hole punches etc.

Hiya great video thank you a mid year wip parade is a yes from me 😊 ….. Ask your vet about Dermadectic Mange our dog had it and did the same as your cat she was eventually treated with ivermectin and it cured it x
Re cosmo ..there’s a product from the vets called atopica that helps dermatological issues due to allergies, can be got online too but you need a prescription, it’s expensive but it last a good while,worth a try. Sorry you’ve had more criticism on your videos, I don’t know why people just can’t unsubscribe if something gets on their wick, says more about them really! Ty for sharing your projects with us, hope you don’t need to find another job again as this one seemed to suit you, my son works for tesco and there is always issues around shifts and hrs. Enjoy the rest of the week and have a nice weekend. Oh.. the dunking bikkie bit.. I had to laugh 😆

But there are several other crafters that make videos that would blow her mind with how much they stitch and why they do it. HOWEVER. Who cares how or why they can and do?! I’m so sorry that person is so miserable in their life that they can’t even find joy in their hobby and entertainment. That’s definitely a THEM problem.

As others have said don’t let the negativity hurt you x I suffer with anxiety and stupid things bother me, you don’t ever compete you are just a fast stitcher, I’m a slow one plus I do other crafts x I love hearing about family etc, and if I didn’t I’d fast forward x the work thing is typical in the retail sector I worked it for many years x maybe selling your stuff on Etsy could make up some of your deficiencies xx love and hugs x

If that Troll doesn’t understand that your goals are for you to get your large projects to a finish then they are not a cross stitcher! You are a wonderful person, and I love to watch your projects progress on! Congratulations on your daughter’s graduation. I am sure you must be really proud of her! My son just got his Masters degree in Aviation last May. It is a lot of work to get that degree, but so worth it! Also, don’t let that Troll take up space in your thoughts, they are not worth your time. Just take that bad memory and crumble it up like a piece of junk mail and toss it in the garbage bin!
Unfortunately, the internet is a platform for some people who like to spew s**t, that they definitely wouldn't say to your face. As hard as it is, try not to let it affect you, and you carry on doing what you are doing, from someone who has watched you from the start and have enjoyed your journey. I appreciate all of our flosstubers who put themselves out there for people like myself who don't have the courage to do them. So dont let the minority of souless people dull your shine. Finally, biscuit dunking is an art form 😂 sometimes times you win, and sometimes you lose, and sometimes you get burnt fingers, trying to retrieve your biccy from your brew😅, but we will still carry on the biscuit roulette.❤

Ignore negative people! If they do not like your videos they do not need to watch them, it's as simple as that. I love the video. Never let people come in and hurt you. You do a great job, so never let the nay sayers hurt your heart. Sometimes, I have been where you are, and it takes strength to not get hurt, but you will get there. Just know that the good people appreciate you. Your cat is probably allergic to it food or something it is around, my daughters dog costs 2 hundred dollars a month for food because of allergy symptoms I say ouch and then pay for it.

Why do people have to be like that? I just enjoy watching, and if I didn’t for some reason, I could just move on. Good for you and try not to let it get to you. I don’t want to be in any competition either, just enjoy others work and get inspiration. Edit and I also always learn things from other stitchers!

Emily - I have been watching you off and on for a while. I do not find you competitive at all there is a great deal of difference between setting a goal and being competitive. You are absolutely correct you do not have to watch anything -- simply click turn it off. I like your goals - they make sense
I think she completely misunderstood that you were challenging yourself to have % to get to each month so you will keep motivated to finish such a huge piece. And you do need motivation to stitch on such a large piece. I’m sorry she is still bothering you so much. I’m pleased you blocked her and she won’t comment and further upset you. I really don’t understand the idea of dunking biscuits. My husband and I had this conversation recently. He does it and I don’t. We decided he was brought up doing it as his mother’s baking was so dry all baking needed dunking. My mother’s baking did not need dunking. People need to find something better to do with their times than troll people on the internet. Especially a cross stitch channel. Come on seriously. I don't think you're in a competition. I think you're just goal oriented and want to finish your pieces. There's nothing wrong with that. I like watching your channel.
