I enjoy your shorter videos, but also enjoy the long ones as well. I just adjust what I’m doing while watching. Or I break up the long ones in sections. Your stitching and finishes are always beautiful!
I'm retired, but I have a hard time watching 2 hour flosstubes. I prefer 1 hour or under, so thank you!! Love all of your projects, you are so prolific. Keep up the great videos. Thanks 1
I personally like shorter videos. When I see Flosstubes that are over 45 minutes, I know I am going to fast forward to the actual stitching. Love your finishes! I still need to fully finish Strawberry Faire and now I want to stitch up Honey Faire. 1 2
Your Honey Faire finish is perfection. Tranquility is also fabulous--I enjoy so much all your stitching and finishing ideas on so many of your projects.
Your videos are the perfect time allowance. I have to break the longer ones down into 2 or 3 sittings at times. Love all you have stitched. The Tiny Town is so pretty. Enjoy all the choices you make to stitch
1, 2 Tranquility was a fabulous stitch. Mine is finished on a jewelry box. Thank you, again, for hosting the SAL. I like your shorter videos, too. It takes me a long time to get through the ones over an hour. I always enjoy seeing your work!
I like videos that are just about stitching!! Once in a while I like longer ones. The Caribbean Waters floss is my favorite!! It’s so beautiful!! Can’t wait for next one!! 🪡🪡🪡🧵🧵
Colorado is also growing this year. Usually we are burned and brown and well into the 90s every day by this time of year. Today we have a high of 70 degrees. It has rained more days than it's been dry and the rain and hail has been pounding. It looks likes the hurricane rains we got when I was growing up in Connecticut. I'm glad you are finally into summer break! You stitching beautiful. I'm envious of all of your completed tiny towns. Have a great week! 1.2.
Your finishes are so beautiful, Helen, and I particularly love your Honey Faire and I'm looking forward to stitching it soon. I always love seeing your stand-ups and thank you for sharing your template. You are so close to completing your Under the Sea and it looks fantastic and I agree that the border is not needed. I'm glad you're enjoying some time off in your summer so far and I hope you get some sunny weather soon to get rid of that dampness. Happy stitching! 1, 2
I love the length of the "palate cleanser" flosstubes because they're all about the stitching, which is what I like to hear about.😊. I have to thank you again for your great tutorials. I had to FFO some pillows this weekend and put some pompom trim around them. Your video tutorials on how to do those two things got me through it and the pillows came out pretty decent😊! So thanks again!! Hope your weather improves. Loved seeing what you've been stitching on!
Lovely stitching as always! And thank you for all the ways to describe the effects of humid weather. My favorite was the cat is damp. hahaha Enjoy your summer!
Great finishes! I enjoy your videos! Thank you for not having long floss tubes!!! If it’s more than 45 minutes, I will look at the project and then fast forward to the next one. Happy stitching 🪡🧵😊
Hi Helen im so glad to see all of your stitchy things. My son just Graduated High School so this mama is feeling a little sad because time flew by but very proud of him. I see yall beautiful things you stitch and i dont know what to stitch. 😢 Well take care and have a great weekend. #1,2. 🌻
RU-vid changed something in their upload process and now you have to select to NOT have commercials inserted in the middle of your video. I'm not sure everyone knows about that change.
Love both of your finishes Helen! I also loved your cat is damp comment LOL. It is super dry here and we have not had any rain for over 6 weeks, I live in the corn belt of the midwest, but I certainly remember seasons where our cats were damp from too much rain as well! I hope you get to see the sun soon and we get the clouds and dampness we so desperately need!
I enjoy your shorter videos, and love your finishes! Seaside Tiny Town is adorable! The Under the Sea is coming out so cute too! I hope it stops raining for you and that the moisture will dry up so that you can close the bathroom door! 1 and 2.
Hello Helen: Your pillows are always so perfectly finished. All you in progress projects are so interesting, I love anything by the sea or to do anything with the sea. thank-you for sharing. Congratulations to the winners. 2, 1,
I so love the stand-up for Erin Elizabeth's tiered trays. I need to get going stitching them and try to finish it your way. I just love seeing your stitches and finishes. Have a great two weeks with your son and stitching.
Thank you John for the template. Much appreciated. 1, 2. Tranquility has been a fun stitch along. Love that it was a small stitch. Your finishes look so good with your co ordinating trims. 💖
I'm loving your Satsuma Street piece, the colours are just gorgeous, lots of tiny elements in your under the sea piece, that would take me forever to stitch, love your finishes. 1, 2
I’m excited to join the Bewitching Pixies SAL! I love those designs. Thanks for sharing your terrific stitching with us. I always enjoy seeing what you have been up to. 1 2
Hi Helen, The shorter videos really work for me, I can fit them in around my day and it means I'm always playing catch up, love the tier that tiny little crab is so cute, great job matching the chenille trim on the Honey fair, 1 please.
Love your FFO’s. The standup is adorable and the colors of your pillow is perfect. I have the tranquility pattern so I’m going to head over to Cob Web corner to see if she still has a thread pack. I so appreciate the shorter videos and yours is one of the first I gravitate to. I don’t know why floss tubers think it’s okay to post 1 1/2-2 1/2 hr videos. That’s a big chunk out of anyone’s day. There are so many I would like to watch but I don’t because I just can’t spare that kind of time nor can I fit it into my stitching time. Thank you for your shorter videos that are always packed with great stitching stuff. 1-2
I understand why channels with more than one person have longer videos, they have twice as much to show! I don't mind them, I just need to break them up into chunks. But doing things by myself I just seem to run out of steam right around the 30 minute mark. 😊
Always enjoy your videos and the length of them is great , especially during the summer when it’s so busy ! Loved seeing your finishes ! Pixie stitch along sounds great ! Thanks , Kim ☀️
Thanks for another great video. I love that you are becoming more purposeful in your stitching. I turn 70 in July and definitely thinking about only stitching what I love - and I find myself choosing projects under 9 x 9 so I can see an end in sight.
I'm really drawn to larger designs, but I know they take me forever to finish. And I'm really trying to get seasonal things done within a year so they don't build up 😂
Amazing finishes, Helen, I especially love the stand-up and Honey Faire. I especially love shorter videos so I can go on to the next. As always, thank you for the templates and all your tutorials. 1, 2
Personally I like shorter videos! Thanks for sharing your stitches and finishes. Enjoy your summer with your son. Hopefully the rain has let up some! 1,2
Your tranquility is beautiful. And even though you have just a little bit done on live on little, you are ahead of me! Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy. 1 or 2
Seeing your sweet stand up finishes makes me want to give it a go, but first there are a few WIPS to finish. Just when you got your bathroom back you can’t close the door😂 here’s to drier weather - but not too dry. I live in Alberta and we’ve had a bad wildfire season already. Happy stitching!
I wish we could send you some of our rain and drizzle to help with the fires! The bathroom that gets sticky for us is always the downstairs half bath. It's actually the only door in the house that doesn't like the humidity.
Love the nautical tiny town...I like nautical things. My grass had started during brown in May but since we've had a but of rain. And the Canadian fire smoke is thick. I like both #1 and #2. Have fun!
Sure enjoy seeing your finishes because they always inspire me ! Thanks so much for the standup template. I remember your Peppermint Santa standup which was so cute! I too like that most of your videos are under 30 minutes. 1, 2
Love the idea about the pixie group stitch. I have never stitched a Mirabilia or a Nora Corbet. So after watching you today I hoped on Carla's website and ordered the Sea Witch with the bead pack. I'm so excited. Your frosted pumpkin stitch is coming along beautifully. Thank you for all of your wonderful inspiration. 1, 2
I love just the stitching. The long ones I have to watch in segments, also.😊 I love your nautical stand up. I want to make one from a bunny pattern for next Easter.
Good to see you again! Well…I didn’t think that i wanted to stitch Seaside Tiny Town- until i saw yours! So cute. Also, I’ve never wanted to stitch a NC…until your parade today. They are beautiful and the purple is stunning! Ack😮my “want to stitch” list is very quickly getting longer than my projected time left on the planet 🥴😬🤣! 2
Missed your co-host Emmy today. Hope she got a good nap. A big Thank You to hubby John for putting the template on your website. Be sure to make him his favorite dinner for helping out. Let us know what that guy left at your door (if anything). You can't just leave us hanging ya know.... Happy Stitching! 1, 2
Hi Helen D! Talk about not having a lot of time. I took almost a year off from stitching and watching flosstubes from lack of time. Between my daughter’s school work and my work work 😅 my stitching time became less and less then I suffered from carpal tunnel in my wrist. Now I'm slowly trying to come back. So I had to check-in on my favorite flosstuber. I still have three seasons of berries to finish! Guess I'm too late for Summer now so better get started on Fall. 😂 Dawn D in IN
I hope your wrist is feeling better! Life can certainly be busy sometimes. I know I always fall behind during the summer. That's when my side job as a teenage boy shuttle driver really kicks into high gear. 😂
Thanks for all the great shares and info. Laughed out loud at your casual comment about the fabric gripper having "... 'pewed' over there." Creating verbs from sound effects is definitely an art form... and so it goes~~ from the Midwest, US.
