I’ve been missing your very comprehensive videos. I enjoy them so much. Since I’m not from your area of the world, I feel like I’ve just traveled across the globe and had a great visit. I just wish one day I’ll actually will visit your beautiful country you live in and your home country. Much ❤ & Happy Stitching 🧵🪡
Thank you for watching and commenting Caryl, lovely to spend some time with you. I hope you do get an opportunity to visit here, both NZ and Australia are beautiful. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
It is so amazing that you have such a special relationship with your Grandson! 🖤🖤🖤 Sending you tons of love through your hard time. It’s so great to stop by and hang out with you for a bit! Lol the frog patterns ‘jump’ into your cart 🤣 pun intended!
Thank you for spending time with me Becky, haha at the frog pun. I can't seem to avoid frog patterns. I am looking forward to continuing my connection with Finley as he gets older and enjoys time with me too. Thanks for your love, greatly appreciated and needed. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
I am sending you a big hug. Why is it that thepeople who are so kind and thoughtful have often experienced so much pain, too? Do focus on yourself and the areas in your life that bring joy and comfort, faith, family, and friends. Cross stitch, of course. It soothes and calms us, doesn't it. ❤❤❤
Thank you for watching and commenting Lynn. I have said that statement multiple times too myself over the years. Life is definitely to short and we need to cherish the people we have it our bubble. Stitching has definitely been a wonderful healing tool for me. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
So nice to see you again. I'm sorry you are having a rough time right now. Hang in there and I'm sending hugs and well wishes. Your holiday in Australia sounded like alot of fun.
Thank you so much for watching and your support. Australia was an awesome holiday, look forward to doing it again soon hopefully. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Great to see you back. Thank you for sharing your stitching and the photos of Finlay who is truly gorgeous. A real chunky monkey is a perfect description. My little grandson will be 3 in January and is a skinny makinki 😂 but also loves when Mimi (me) goes to visit. My plans for 2024 are 3 WIPGO boards - the first one will have 24 new starts, the second one 12 big WIPs which be on there twice and the last one will have 12 smaller WIPs also on the board twice. I will also continue with the 24HOCS monthly acrostics and the Magazine Monthly challenge one too. Lastly I want to try and fully finish 50 things. I have a huge box of stitched projects that need turning into pillows, drums, flat folds or framed pieces. I need goals or structure otherwise I would dilly dally and make no progress. Anyway, happy stitching and I look forward to the haul video! Take care x
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your 2024 goals Susan. I love the idea of using your WIPGO boards for specific categories of goals. I had that a couple of years ago and it worked wonderfully, may need to add that to my plan preparation and see if it fits in again. Grandchildren bring so much enjoyment to our lives and the Bonnie to that is we get to spend time with our children also, win win. I'm looking forward to getting my haul videos finished and uploaded, wow did I go overboard haha, hence why I have a spending freeze now lol. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
You are worth everything my dear. Hugs for you for the time of the year. We are here anytime. You've a heart of gold. Awesome stitching. Awesome projects. Love the idea of what you're thinking of doing next year. I haven't really thought about it yet. Looking forward to your haul video. And again. You are worthy hun. Happy stitching.
Thank you for spending time with me Nicole, appreciate it. My plans next year are kind of concreted in, however there is always room to change it up a bit. Thank you for the kind words and hugs 💕 Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Hi Judy good to see you again, life gets busy!,Australia sounded fun, looking forward to seeing your haul and WIPS,thanks for all that you do and share look after yourself, love and hugs,…. Thankyou for sharing 🇳🇿❤️🪡
That punch needle does look rather large lol. Your birthday/time away sounds fabulous making lots of memories 🎉. Findley looks a delight he must give you much joy and happiness. I'm always interested in the personal stuff. Pleased that you're back😃. You should be your priority, visit your memories but make new ones too. Take care🇬🇧🤗
Thank you so much for watching and commenting hun, I love that "visit your memories but make me ones too" I appreciate you saying that. Finley certainly brings me so much joy and happiness. I'm interested in watching the personal stuff too, we connect better with others when taking an interest in everything about them. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Lovely to see your developing relationship with your grandson. We have two friends who have lost adult children: it seems to me that you can never really get over such a loss, but for your own sanity (as you say putting yourself first) you have to learn to live with the grief & try to focus on the good memories. Easier said than done, especially when you’re feeling low. You already know that you need to do what makes you feel good, so happy stitching Judy x
Thank you for watching and spending time with me Lesley. It's so true that you never get over it, it haunts and plays on my mind all the time, and I think that's where the struggle becomes so real. I am going to put myself as the priority and focus on what needs to be done. Hopefully that will help. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Hi, I’m so glad I found your channel! Now I’ve got to watch your previous flosstubes to catch up. Tomorrow is the first anniversary of my Dad’s passing. It’s very difficult. Prayers to you and your family and remember we will see them again.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting Sheri. Lovely to spend some time with you. Sending you love and healing thoughts for your dad's passing X Looking forward to seeing them again for sure - just after I have lived my life to the fullest :) Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Whaaa!?! Judy is getting stuff framed!?! 🤯😂🤯😂 I’m thinking of doing a year of stitch from stash and no haul…. 😅😬 Your grandson is the cutest chunky buby!! ❤️🥰❤️🥰 So good watching you Friend!! ::big huge hugs:: I love you and I’m sending you emotional and spiritual strength!
Thank you for watching and spending time with me Jerica. I may just join you in the year of stitching from stash, as you can see by my craft room I really don't need anymore. I'm looking forward to getting some pieces framed to display them. Finley is pretty chunky and so cute! Appreciate the hugs, they are definitely welcomed. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
My Autumn Lane Box arrived today too, and, like you, Witches Hollow is my favourite. Sorry to hear you're going through a rough patch, but happy to hear you have good friends to lean on. I'm looking forward to the WIP parade!
Thank you for taking time too watch, appreciate it hun. The Autumn Lane Stitchery projects are always so fun to stitch. Let me know when you are ready to start Witches Hallow, would love to start it together. Thanks for the kind words and showing an interest in the Wip parade, can't believe I couldn't remember what it was called haha Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Lol! Hey! I love stitching on Aida!!! But what I really don’t like is 18 count Aida. Ugh. That just makes me unhappy every time. 😂 And I absolutely can’t wait to see all the haul!!!!! So excited!!!! ❤
Thank you for watching Laura, I wonder what it is about 18ct aida you don't like, that is my all time favourite count and fabric lol. Lucky we are all different, helps the world go round! Look forward to showing you my haul! Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Sometimes it's hard to see through the things we are dealing with, but you've got people around you who see your worth and friends who love you. Focus on the positives in your life, because they are what matter. Glad to see you back stitching and glad to see you motivated again. Looking forward to your haul video and learning about your plans next year. Personally I am going to set myself mini goals but not be regimented by joining challenges. I've managed 12 finishes so far this year with this method, which includes 2 months of not stitching at all due to stress and other things. I'm definitely going to be more organised, stitching from stash more and planning for next year. Focus on you Judy and what matters to you; I've got nothing but positive thoughts and wishes for you.
Thank you for watching and your kind words Zeb, appreciate it. Congratulations on the 12 finishes that's awesome, I seem to finish more when I'm more regimented with plans so I'm looking forward to that over the next 12 months. I'm going to try stitching from stash also with the exception of floss if needed. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Hello Judy, it is great to see you again, even though I think of you quite often between your little visits. I wonder if you and your family are well, if you’ve been enjoying life. The musicals you’ve seen sound wonderful. I’ve seen a few, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, but that’s about all. I did enjoy every one. Your precious baby Findley is oh so handsome and still has that beautiful heart melting smile. You will never know how much I appreciate your flosstubes. You’re are genuine, and a dear and I love you! God bless you in his great abundance.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting Joann. You are such a gem and bring a smile to my face. I have also seen Phantom of the Opera and Grease. I would love to see Les Miserables and Jesus Christ Superstar, they would be amazing. Finley definitely melts my heart each time I see and think of him. Amazing how grandchildren can make you feel. I appreciate your kind words and I am so glad my flosstube can help you. Sending you love, take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
I understand being away because of life. I’m in that situation now helping my father and mother as my Dad is dealing with dementia. My faith has helped me through this time and I’ll pray for you dealing with the loss of your son. I am always happy to catch up with you. I’m happy you were able to go see those fun shows in Australia. I need to catch up on Facebook, so I’ll check out your group. Happy Stitching and enjoy planning for 2024.😊
Thank you for watching, you are a wonderful person offering your assistance to your parents at this difficult time. Appreciate your prayers regarding my son's death. The shows in Australia were amazing, had so much fun. Look forward to seeing you on Facebook and seeing pictures of what you are currently working on when you get the time. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Glad to see you back you have been missed glad you got some stitching in life does get busy I have just put out a plans video pop along as see I might be able to give you some ideas always here if you need a chat looking forward to your purchase video Make sure you look after your health
Thank you for watching and your support Sharon. I will definitely check it out. Any help would be great. Will start recording the haul video tomorrow hopefully :) look forward to sharing. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Thanks for watching Leigh, I know FFO in my future is exciting haha Saga is massive, I'm enjoying every Stitch:) Hope you are feeling better, take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
I’m so pleased to see you again Judy. Welcome back! Great to hear your news and catch up for a little bit. Finlay has amazing eyes and a wonderful smile. I was gifted a punch needle recently and have been told that Vonna Pfeiffer has a good video tutorial. That’s where I hope to start with mine because I wasn’t very successful just trying without any instruction. ☺️. I really hope you can find a way to reduce your struggle, sweet Judy. It can’t be easy and I hope you will be kind to yourself along the way. 😘
Thank you so much for watching and commenting Sarah, I was just about to click on your last video and seen you commented on here, so thought I would reply first before watching. I will check Vonna's tutorial for some guidance, like you I didn't want to try without help or instruction. Appreciate your kind words regarding my struggle, I hope so too. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Hey Judy so good to catch up with the projects, even though I’d seen some of them in chat already. I dont think I realised your Saga was so effing huge though! Wowsers! Am always around of an evening if you want an impromptu chat session babe xx love Nic x
Thanks for watching Nic, appreciate your support and friendship. Saga is going to be pretty big, I think if I was to start again I would do it on possible 20ct aida instead. Either way I'm loving it. Look forward to chatting again xx Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Oh thank you for the mention ❤. I would be happy to exchange the punch needle - let me get in touch with the wholesaler and see if we can find a smaller one. So nice to see what you’ve been up too. Xxx belinda @ StitchMakers
Thank you so much for watching Belinda. I appreciate you seeing if there is a smaller punch available, I just need to learn how to use it haha. Hope you have been going well and your shop is busy! Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
I'm thinking about completing 1% on my large full coverage project a month like Crafty Emily is doing. It sounds easy to say, but I'm not sure if that goal is actually doable for me at the moment. Hopefully It'll just become a simple habit to stitch that amount each month. Finger's crossed!
Thank you for watching Rebecca, that sounds like a great idea. I thought about that for mine too, I have to many to choose from so I will just go with 2024 on each of the projects and hope I can fit more each day.
I am so happy to see you back Judy. I love to see what you are stitching on and how many projects that you have. I have been busy building my WIPs this year and I have no clue how many I have 😂. I love full coverage and have several of those but as you know many shiny projects come our way on a daily basis. I would love to be your stitching buddy although I have no real idea as to what my plans are next year other than making sure I touch my BAPS every month. Can you post the details of those forms that you showed as I might find them useful. I am also interested in WIP Warriors so I will check them out….I assume on Facebook. Next year I am coming to Australia and New Zealand. Do you know of any cross stitch stores in Auckland by any chance? All the time through your video I sensed that you were a little down and of course I understood why at the end. Sending you huge hugs. I understand that feeling of isolation when I lost my Mum during Covid. Yes, now is the time to prioritize you because no one else is going to do that for you. Do what makes you feel good and gives you a lot of pleasure. Take care of you ❤. Tricia
Thank you so much for spending some time with me Tricia, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has been building up my WIPs. I am looking forward to getting my polls up to see what projects I am going to focus on next year, and also for stitching buddies to enjoy that time with. Oh my, how exciting for you to be coming to Australia and NZ. There is a huge craft store in Auckland called Ribbon & Rose, they cater for all crafts and have just moved to a bigger and better location. If you are free to catch up while here for a bit drink, it would be lovely to meet you in person. Appreciate the hugs, I also lost my mum during COVID, sending you hugs back also. Not an easy task to prioritise yourself when you have always put others first! Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
@@anaussieinakiwiworld9355 I would love to meet you in person . I have been to Auckland before so we are not sure what we will be doing. Last time we went to the Lava I think island. I’m sure we went by boat…could be wrong though as it was 10 years ago. I have been to Rotarua also. Such a beautiful country. Grandchildren are so precious. Just wait until he is running up to you smiling and with arms outstretched it is the greatest feeling. We are expecting a grandson in January, I can’t wait to meet him. He will most likely be our last baby, but there are always surprises 😉.
@@flosstubeIjustwanttostitch oh that would be awesome to meet up in person. I always find it better on the second visit because you have the must do attractions out the way on the first visit and then you can enjoy other things next time while also relaxing taking in the scenery. I'm so excited for Finley to come running up to me. With my other grandsons being in Australia I miss that with them. My granddaughter is really close to her other Nana because she spends more time with her, but hoping we get to see her more. Congratulations on expecting a grandson, I giggled at your surprises comment lol
Thanks for all your interesting info. I also joined a guild last year and have found it amazing. All the amazing work the ladies do. I am now trying other embroidery/stitching, that I never thought I would do. How do you get involved in WIP warriors?
Thank you for watching Kara. So glad to hear you have joined the embroidery guild, is fun to learn new things, I need to just build up the courage to give it a try. Wip warriors will be open hopefully shortly I will make sure I post it on my Facebook group so people can join. Look forward to sharing the fun with you. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
New subscriber. Love your video. I looked for the Wip warriors group on facebook and can't find it, perhaps its not open yet. I have made my plans for 2024. I am doing WIPGO with 3 boards. Two of the boards have current wips and one board is all new starts. I am also stitching from stash , which means my new starts are charts or kits I already have the fabric for. I also won't be buying any new charts next year, except for the new house series from Cottage Garden Samplings which doesn't really count as I signed up for the auto shop this year...lol
Thank you so much for watching, commenting and subscribing Narelle, lovely to spend some time with you. I have been searching for Wip warriors group too, doesn't seem to be open but shouldn't be too far away. Love your plans, we have similar goals and look forward to encouraging each other to meet them. I also signed up for the new house series this year, definitely doesn't count as a new purchase lol Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
So happy to see you again! Some how my notifications got turned off.... that is fixed once again! Your Adele project is totally stunning! I am so sorry to hear about your son, praying peace and comfort and healing for you in the coming season. You are so wise to make yourself a priority and so wise to not isolate but talk to the friends near you. A burden isn't nearly as heavy when you allow people you trust to help you to carry it. Oh you might celebrate with me I finally made the jump into my first full coverage! It is a mini from Artesy called Dawn Flight. Just a baby compared to what you take on but still I am so loving it! Take care, see you in the next video.
Thank you so much for watching Connie, appreciate your support. I have had notifications drop off my subscribed ones too, not to sure why that happens. Wow, congratulations on taking on your first full coverage, look forward to seeing your updates. That's awesome. No matter the size, it's just one stitch at a time! I'm happy that I have finally taken the step to prioritise myself, at 52 years young it has to happen haha. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Hey Judy. So surprised to see I won the pattern. So excited. I will send my postal address by messenger. I will also send a big hug by messenger 🤗. Hopefully I will catch up with you on Friday.
Congratulations Jude, look forward to starting Teddy with you at some point. Thank you for watching and also the hugs. Appreciated. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
So glad to see you again. I'm looking forward to seeing your haul. You always have such beautiful projects. Saga is going to be stunning. I'm sorry you are struggling. Hope you continue to make time for you and your needs, too. Happy Stitching.
Thank you for watching and commenting Sarah. My haul is going to be fun to go thru and show everyone. There is such a variety of patterns in there. Exciting! Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
So happy to see you back. You have amazing projects and bring so much to this community. You have done so much work in your craft room and it looks like a happy place to be. Love hearing about Australia and family visits. Teresa Kogut is big into needle punch and was planning a tutorial. Hugs and hope to see you again soon❣️
Thank you so much for watching and commenting hun. I appreciate your support. Oh I didn't realise Teresa was planning on a punch needle tutorial, I look forward to seeing that. I still have lots of work to go in the craft room, definitely getting there though. Take care and happy stitching!
Lovely to catch up with you. I look forward to seeing your progress and your plans. What a great idea for your whiteboard. I am going to turn one of my “kids” room into a craft room so can’t wait for that. Finlay is such a cutie and is a great way to put a smile on your face when you see him if you are feeling a bit down. Sending you big hugs. ❤
Thank you for watching and commenting Hilary, lovely to spend some time with you. I love the whiteboard now it's on the track, I don't have to lift it anymore. Finley is definitely where my happiness peaks. He brings so much joy to my life. I look forward to hearing all about your craft room. Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Another great video Judy. My plans for next year is to be nearly monogamous. I want to stitch on one wip and one new start until they are finished, then pick another wip and new start and continue on. We'll see how that goes. I'm looking forward to seeing your haul! Your grandson is looking so big now! Its lovely that you have such a beautiful bond with him.
Thank you so much for watching hun and also for sharing your plans. That sounds like a great idea, are your new starts going to be smaller ones or what ever takes your fancy? Can't wait to share my haul, there's lots lol Finley is getting so big now, he is definitely like the size of a toddler haha. The bond is adorable and I can't wait till it grows even more. Look forward to hearing about how your plans go. Good luck! Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
@@anaussieinakiwiworld9355 generally I tend to do large pieces, but need to get a few smaller ones started so I can have some finishes more frequently xx
